13 Reasons Why Season 4 was made official by Netflix last September, setting up what will serve as the final season for the series.
After the series released its third season last year, it became clear that formerly controversial water cooler topic series 13 Reasons Why was running out of reasons to cite, thus putting a finish line firmly on the horizon. While the show typically runs 13 episodes, this final run will contain just 10. However, creator/showrunner/Ep Brian Yorkey remained onboard to see things through.

The trailer for the fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why has arrived, previewing a series that must first pick up the pieces after Monty (Timothy Granaderos) was killed in prison at the end of Season 3. CSI: NY and Forrest Gump star Gary Sinise has joined the cast of the fourth and final season of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why. Sinise will take on the role of a character named Dr. Robert Ellman.
Dr. Ellman is described as “a compassionate, incisive, no-nonsense adolescent and family therapist who works to help Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) battle anxiety, depression, and grief. Ellman helps guide Clay to accept the help he needs and come to terms with the trauma in his past.”
I’ve always liked Gary Sinise. He’s a great actor that is underrated. I’m surprised that he has done more and better projects over the years.
The final season will feature the core cast’s graduation from Liberty High. I’m still currently making my way through Season 3. So far, it hasn’t been as good as the previous seasons, but let’s see how it comes to an end.
