- Ernst Fegté was born on September 28, 1900 in Hamburg, Germany. He was an art director and production designer, known for Frenchman's Creek (1944), Destination Moon (1950) and The Princess and the Pirate (1944). He died on December 15, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- German-born art director and production designer. Worked in the German film industry in the late 1910's. Moved to the U.S., starting at Paramount in 1925. Again under contract to Paramount from 1933 to 1945, then at RKO in 1945 and United Artists, 1946-48.
