Former Dancing with the Stars pro Kym Johnson-Herjavec is starring in her first Lifetime film. Hunting Housewives pairs the dancer with Denise Richards and NeNe Leakes from the Real Housewives franchise, and podcast host Melyssa Ford. In an exclusive interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Johnson-Herjavec shared details of the film she calls a mash-up of Real Housewives and Survivor, with a bit of “girl power” thrown in.
‘Hunting Housewives’ looks to be a fabulous film. Can you tell us how your role in the Lifetime movie came to be?
I moved to Canada with my husband [Robert Herjavec] about four years ago and started to dip my toe into acting. I think producers saw footage of me on YouTube doing Celebrity Survivor out in the elements, but I wasn’t very good at it and voted myself off. If you were a ’90s kid, you might have had a crush on Jessica Rabbit. Ever since her debut in 1988’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit? She has often been considered to be one of the most iconic sex symbols in animation. It’s not too hard to imagine why. After all, she’s not bad; she’s just drawn that way. While the movie initially implied that she was an unfaithful wife to Roger Rabbit, it was soon revealed that she was actually loyal to him, despite the dramatic differences in both of their appearances. They were an unlikely couple on paper, but

Saturday Night Live kicked off its Dec. 17 edition by parodying Donald Trump’s video announcement earlier this week that he’s selling NFTs, or what he calls “Trump Digital Trading Cards.”
In a video announcement earlier this week, Trump described the NFTs, which sell for 99 and reportedly sold out on the first day, as “pertaining to my life and career.” They portray Trump as an astronaut, cowboy, race car driver and superhero.
Kicking off Saturday’s SNL, Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, began by addressing the news and quoting from the actual video.
“This is Donald Trump, hopefully your favorite president of all time, better than Lincoln, better than Washington,” Johnson as Trump said, a direct quote from the real video, adding “frankly, better than Ezra,” a reference to the alternative rock band whose heyday was in the ’90s.

The final “SNL” of 2022 opened, unsurprisingly, with a cold open sketch that took aim at Donald Trump’s “big announcement” launch of Nft trading cards earlier this week.
James Austin Johnson’s Donald Trump appeared, introducing himself as “hopefully your favorite president of all time” before talking about his NFTs which he pronounced “nifties,” adding, “I call ‘em nifties ‘cause they’re so neat.”
This launched into a showcase of various increasingly ridiculous trading cards that would appear onscreen accompanied by Johnson’s description of each: “For example, when I was an astronaut. Or me riding an elephant. You’ll get me melting Biden’s ice cream with my laser eyes.”
He added, “When you buy a card, you don’t get to pick which one you’ll get. It might be me on the cover of a romance novel. Me doing the splits. Me doing Titanic. Or even me as Jessica Rabbit.

James Austin Johnson returned as Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live as the show chose the most mocked topic of the week for its cold open: The former president’s real-life hawking of 99 digital trading cards.
SNL didn’t have to stray too far from the truth for its satire, not just of Trump grifting for money, but of the entire world of NFTs, in which people have been paying top dollar for items that exist only in the virtual world.
“You can also get them for free by just going online and looking at them maybe, I don’t know,” Johnson as Trump said in the sketch. “Maybe a screenshot but we’d really prefer it if you sent the 99.”

"Oh my god, Becky. Look at her butt."
If you sit with the fact that those were the first words uttered - by a white woman no less - in Sir Mix-a-Lot's infamous "Baby Got Back" video, you won't be surprised by the public's reaction to its release in 1992. The video, which opened with the scene of two white actors gawking at a Black woman's shape, was actually banned by MTV for a short time. Close-up shots of posteriors and Mix himself standing atop a 50-foot derriere were also contributing factors to this decision. Additionally, some viewers were concerned that hyperfocusing on a singular body part was vulgar and a blatant act of objectifying women. While that may be true, the real intent of the song deserves a closer look, especially considering the floodgates it opened around perceptions of Black women's bodies - perceptions that keep the song relevant 30 years later.

Posting several comments in a bit of rage as he heard the cover had been, “Banned In the USA.” He goes on to mention the task of the artists along with his plight for his creative muscle he is trying to express. Many stores/family chains are claiming they don’t wish to house the disc due to the graphic artwork. No word yet on what the final art work will be and if there is a chance to purchase the intended overall album.
The cover, from artist George Condo, features a man whom appears to be Mr. West lounging back on a couch while a white beastly looking woman straddles his leg in some sort of lap dance situation.

Nelly and Ashanti are kaput, the New York Daily News reports. Both music stars, who have been together since 2003, are said splitting up over different directions they want to take regarding the future of their romance.
"Ashanti was ready to settle down, while her beau wanted to sow his wild oats," the New York Daily News claims. Adding fuel to the break-up report, Nelly reportedly has been seen spending time together with model-actress Melyssa Ford in Las Vegas and Miami.
Nelly and Ashanti have been secretly dating for years when he told reporters in November last year that their romance is "serious." At that time the hip-hop artist said, "That's the thing between me and her, we just like having fun ..... I think it's always serious when you can hang with a person continuously and [still] have fun."
As of the press time, there has been no confirmation or denial obtained from both Nelly and Ashanti.
