NBC’s La Brea season three episode one threw in more dinosaurs, confirmed Veronica is pregnant, introduced a new pivotal player, saw the abduction of Levi and Petra, and ended with the disappearance of Ty, Riley, and Josh through two different auroras. Wow, that was a lot to absorb! Episode two of the final season picks up with Ty (Chiké Okonkwo) in LA just weeks prior to the appearance of the sinkhole, waxing philosophical about a trip he never intended to take.
Ty grabs onto the idea of finding someone to share this burden with after a waitress suggests that as a possible next step.
Ty introduces himself to Dr. Sam Velez (Jon Seda) at the hospital where Sam works. He hands Sam a list of things...

Unfortunately, Gavin, Izzy, and Josh’s encounter with the T-Rex teased at the end of NBC’s La Brea season two isn’t the opening shot of season three episode one. Instead, the final season of the time-traveling sci-fi drama begins with Gavin (Eoin Macken) experiencing a pleasant memory before being snapped back into the reality of life in 10,0000 BC.
Gavin’s determined to get James’ laptop to work but isn’t having any luck. Izzy (Zyra Gorecki) is full of doom and gloom and won’t offer any help. The auroras are all closed, and there’s no way to get to Eve – even if they knew where/when she is right now, which they don’t.
Lucas (Josh McKenzie), who somehow got voted in as leader by the group,...

NBC’s La Brea wraps up season two with episode 14 which begins with Gavin at death’s door. Episode 13 ended with Gavin (Eoin Macken) and his group discovering Moore’s backup portal just as a gigantic lizard attacked. Gavin was thrown aside and landed on a stalagmite that pierced his abdomen. (Ouch.) The good thing about this is that it won’t be Gavin making the plan on how to get out of this situation. I have no idea why people continue to listen to him!
It’s determined they can’t lift Gavin off the rock or he’ll bleed out.
Judah (Damien Fotiou) hears something and Sam (Jon Seda) and Josh (Jack Martin) check it out. It turns out James (Jonno Roberts) knows about this portal, and he’s...

NBC’s La Brea season two episode 11 is titled “The Wedding” but there’s a lot more going on besides the exchange of I Dos. Episode 11 opens with Caroline (Melissa Neal) and her dad, Silas, going over Dr. Moore’s notes, hoping they’ll lead to a solution on how to send Gavin and his family home. They’re not making any progress and are worried Gavin will turn to James for help. Silas (Mark Lee) regrets that he failed to protect Gavin from James all those years ago and dedicates himself to working on Moore’s notes.
He sends Caroline back to the camp to watch over her son. Seconds after she walks away, Silas is shot. The shooter picks up the now blood-spattered notes and leaves without showing their face.

NBC’s La Brea season two episode eight ended with Gavin stopping the virus upload when it was 99 complete. Episode nine, “Murder in the Clearing,” picks up minutes later with Gavin (Eoin Macken) demanding to know his dad’s plan for getting them back home.
James (Jonno Roberts) claims his team’s on the verge of fixing the machine so it can be used safely. The catch? Dr. Harold Moore, the only scientist who understands the formula, is missing somewhere in 10,000 BC.
If Gavin can find him, then maybe they can all go home. And, it turns out, Gavin’s mom knows Harold and might know where to locate him.
Eve (Natalie Zea) shows up inside the Tower and wants to know why the virus stopped uploading.
