Los Blancos, directed by Yolande Geralds, is the short online tale of two young sisters who inherit their father's cocaine business and make quick work with the guns, the action, and the Latina stuff.
It stars series creator Shakur Shozadah and Rosa Acosta as the avaricious, deadly sisters Yasmine and Sophia Blanco.
“I feel really good about where this show is headed,” says Geralds, who says she fell in love with the project immediately and is currently submerged in bringing it to life along with producer Lisa Love Clavelle. “I feel like we have something really special here.”
Los Blancos will be a periodic 5-minute web series, and seems sexy and thrilling. I mean that. Just check out the teaser and notice the gritty, heated atmosphere, the fact that the criminal leads and director are females: what's not to get excited about? Rarely do we see Latinas in strong, lead...
