- Graduated Seton Hall University (NJ) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
- His first job in film was as a Production Assistant on The Quick and the Dead (1995). A huge fan of The Evil Dead (1981), he wrote director Sam Raimi a letter prior to graduating college seeking employment with him. Much to his surprise, Raimi answered his letter and said that if he decided to relocate to L.A., to look him up. Giglio moved to California shortly after graduation, reconnected with Raimi's office just as Raimi had signed on to direct "The Quick and the Dead". He started as an office P.A., but later served as a Set P.A.. Location P.A. and Raimi's P.A. on the production in Arizona.

- Was honored by the 18th Annual Webby Awards for Best Writing for Extraction (2013).
- An avid Boston/New England Sports fan, Tony tries to sneak into all his films some prop or wardrobe from either the Boston Red Sox or The New England Patriots. In CHAOS, Damon Johnson's character DAX wears a Boston Red Sox jersey. In Timber Falls, Josh Randall's character MIKE's car has a personalized license plate that says, "SOX FAN". In EXTRACTION, one of the Black Ops agents wears a Red Sox Jersey and knocks out another wearing a Yankees shirt. In SWAT: UNDER SIEGE, Chris Gauthier's character ELSON, wears a "Keep Calm & Brady On" shirt, in reference to Patriots QB Tom Brady. Lastly, in DOOM: ANNIHILATION, there's a Patriots logo on Cassidy Little's character MORGAN's key chain.
