- Larry Groce was born on April 22, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Old School (2003), The Pacifier (2005) and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014).
- In the late 80s he hosted "Mountain Stage," a national radio show. Early in the 70s, Groce went to work for the National Endowment for the Arts and West Virginia's Arts and Humanities Council. He was sent to the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia to teach songwriting.
- Has recorded 22 albums including 6 platinum albums for Walt Disney Records (aka Disneyland Records). Nominated for a Grammy Award.
