Update: J.K. Rowling said it's not true... bummer. But I'm still convinced Warner Bros. will eventually adapt The Cursed Child into a movie.
When the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was introduced to the world, fans knew it was only a matter of time before we saw it adapted into a feature film. Well, it seems like Warner Bros. is taking the necessary steps to see that it happens as they are reportedly having conversations with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint to come back and reprise their roles.
The news comes from Jim Hill, who is a theme park historian and journalist that has some pretty solid contacts at Disney and Universal. He recently was a guest on the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast to talk about a lot of different topics pertaining to Universal Studios Orlando. During that conversation Hill talked about the current contract between NBCUniversal and Warner Bros.,...

Update: In light of the previously-reported rumor, author J.K. Rowling has taken to Twitter to dispel any plans to turn Harry Potter and the Cursed Child into a trilogy of films in the future.
I know a lot of people are looking for reasons to be cheerful today, but there is No Truth to the rumour about a #CursedChild movie trilogy!
— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) January 20, 2017
So there you have it. That's not to say this couldn't happen down the line, but as it stands, there are no current plans to do this.

Several months ago, while everyone was talking about the recent opening of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child in London's Palace Theater and the impending arrival of the cinematic spinoff of J.K. Rowling's magical wizarding world Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them,...

J.K. Rowling, screenwriter on Warner’s Fantastic Beasts and the creative mastermind behind the Harry Potter saga, has taken to Twitter to effectively shut down rumors of a potential trilogy of movies based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Ever since Warner Bros. announced a whopping five movies rooted in the Fantastic Beasts universe, speculation has been rife that the studio is eager to bring back much of the original cast – Daniel Radcliffe included – to explore the story of the Cursed Child on the silver screen. That seeded a conversation on the Unofficial Universal Orlando podcast claiming that Warner Bros. brass was in the process of meeting with Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Beauty and the Beast‘s Emma Watson about the possibility of renewing their Harry Potter contracts.
Jim Hill was quoted on the podcast as so: “They [Warner Bros.] not only have Potter, they have Fantastic Beasts and, supposedly, if...

Because there’s no point of putting an end to a franchise when more money can be made, here comes a new rumor that Warner Bros. is plotting a trilogy of movies based on the Harry Potter play, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. Jack Thorne’s play follows Harry and the gang in middle age, but mainly focuses on the hero’s son Albus and his friendship with Scorpius Malfoy, the offspring of antagonist Draco. It opened in London last year, the script was published, and it’s on its way to Broadway.
Now Screenrant has picked up on a recent episode of the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast in which guest Jim Hill—a “theme park historian,” who Screenrant reports has some good contacts— shares his purported knowledge about the studio’s plans. According to Hill, Cursed Child is being envisioned as a sort of “Harry Potter: The...

In 2002, right before the release of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Stan Lee was quoted in the documentary Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters and Marvels as saying, "There hasn't been a better time to be a Marvel fan." Ten years later, not much has changed. Here in 2012, we are mere weeks away from the biggest Marvel movie of all time; a movie that 4 years ago was said to be impossible - The Avengers. It's the first film in movie history to feature six different superheroes all in the same film together. It's gotten to the point where director Joss Whedon is giving advice to Warner Bros. on how to approach a "Justice League" movie when they can't even get Green Lantern to work! The Avengers had its world premiere on Wednesday at Disney's El Capitan Theatre. However, the film shown there may not be the film we get in theaters; and this is a good thing.

Jessica Paré's cover of 'Zou Bisou Bisou' becomes an instant online sensation after it's performed on season-five premiere.

During Sunday night's , Don Draper got a sexy birthday gift from his new wife and former secretary, Megan (played by Jessica Paré).
Backed by her beatnik pals, she performed a breathy version of the '60s French pop tune tune "Zou Bisou Bisou," which translates to "Oh You, Kiss Kiss."
Decked out in a little black dress, Megan performed the song with the eyes of Don's co-workers and friends on her. But she didn't just sing it: She also provocatively danced her way through the performance to the shock and awe of the partygoers. While Don, who was celebrating the big 4-0, seemed amused during the sultry summer performance, he didn't seem to want to discuss any of...
