- His stage name is partly taken from the Biblical character Cain. As the story goes, Cain killed his brother Abel, committing the first ever murder. Coincidentally, his character's stepbrother was called Kane the Undertaker when he debuted in the WWF.

- The extremely noticeable scars on the back of his head came from the infamous RAW steel cage match when his head got slammed by the cage door.
- Was not (despite somewhat popular belief) the "other" Undertaker in the infamous "The Undertaker Vs. The Undertaker" angle. That Undertaker was actually Brian Harris aka ('Prime Time' Brian Lee).
- Feuding with Gene Snitsky, after Snitsky hit Kane with a chair that caused him to knock over his "wife" Lita, thus losing their "baby". (October 2004)
- In an ironic turn of fate, Kane was put on the shelf at Taboo Tuesday by Gene Snitsky by the same method he used to eliminate Shawn Michaels four months prior (folding a steel chair over his throat and jumping on it). The real reason for his departure is that Glenn Jacobs is filming a horror movie for a couple of months. (October 2004)
- With his on-screen brother's undefeated winning streak at WrestleMania, Kane is one of three opponents whom Undertaker has beaten more than once at the pay-per-view show, along with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Kane was defeated at WrestleMania XIV and at WrestleMania XX, six years later.
- As Doomsday he won the United States Wrestling Association Heavyweight title in 1997.
- Married Lita on the August 23rd episode of RAW. (August 2004)

- Has had feuds with The Undertaker for years under many different characters. Some matches, including his on-again, off-again feuds as Kane, The Undertaker's stepbrother, include a Survivor Series match where The Royals (Jerry Lawler, King Mabel, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Isaac Yankem) took on The Darkside (The Undertaker, Savio Vega, Fatu and Henry O. Godwinn). As well as many cross over WWF/USWA matches between The Undertaker and Unibomb.
- Kane is nine times World tag team champion.
- Won the WWE Tag Team Championships with Big Show before the titles ceased existing.
- Beat Matt Hardy in a 'Till Death Do Us Part' match at SummerSlam, when he Chokeslammed Matt who was on the second rope. Now Kane can "marry" the mother of his "child", Lita. (August 2004)
- His "brother" The Undertaker has been cited working out at his gym by many people. Sevierville is also the home of former Tag champ Mark Canterbury aka Henry Godwinn.
- Although he held the title for only 24 hours, the shortest WWF Title reign record belongs to André René Roussimoff, who defeated Hulk Hogan for the belt on The Main Event NBC special, then tried selling it to Ted DiBiase seconds later. André was stripped of the Title by WWF President Jack Tunney, the transaction was declared void and the Title became vacant.

- Won the WCW Tag Team Championships with The Undertaker during the Invasion.
- Kane became a 9 time World Tag Team Champion, this time with the Big Show, by defeating Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch on Nov. 1, 2005 at Taboo Tuesday.
- At WrestleMania 22, he successfully defended the World Tag Team Championships with his tag team partner the Big Show, against Carlito and Chris Masters.
- 12 years after becoming the WWF Champion, Kane won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2010, defeating Rey Mysterio for it. He earned the Title shot earlier in the night with the Money in the Bank Ladder match.
