So, you’ve spent your weekend watching, dissecting, and violently debating Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master. But what now?
The feted filmmaker has yet to confirm his next project, although he has begun the process of adapting Thomas Pynchon’s Inherent Vice into a movie. But since that’s far from concrete, P.T. Anderson’s next subject is still very much up in the air.
So PopWatch has some suggestions!
Since we’ve already divined the ingredients to what makes an Anderson feature go, we figured we’d offer up some ideas for his next one. Keeping in mind...

John Lithgow is already a legend, but he keeps getting more legendary — racking up a sixth Tony nomination for his titular turn in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of David Auburn’s The Columnist. Throughout a lengthy career in film and television, Lithgow has remained a native to the stage, earning his first Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play in 1973’s The Changing Room and his second for Best Actor in a Musical for 2002’s Sweet Smell of Success. EW sat down with the decorated theater veteran to talk Tony nominations, what it means to win and...

From a Run-d.M.C. classic to raps with not-so-merry sentiments, here's MTV News' nontraditional playlist.

Sure, Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber are the current Christmas crown holders, but what if your yuletide tastes require a harder edge? While rappers aren't exactly known for spreading holiday cheer, hip-hop has given fans plenty of rap carols. Run-d.M.C.'s 1987 classic "Christmas in Hollis" may be the most-popular, but new-schoolers like Ludacris and Kanye West have kept rap's Xmas tradition alive.
If you've grown tired of listening to Nat King Cole's 1946 "The Christmas Song" or even Mariah Carey's more recent 1994 hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You," MTV News has compiled a 12-song playlist of rap's best Christmas-themed hits.
"Christmas in Hollis," Run-d.M.C.
No doubt the greatest rap carol ever recorded, this 1987 classic found Run and partner-in-rhyme D.

Everyone’s favourite polygamist family is back y’all! The fifth and final season of Big Love starts tonight at 9pm on HBO and it promises to be bigger than ever. It’s like Tlc’s Sister Wives, except more dramatic and everyone is better looking.
Last season ended with Bill being elected a Utah state senator and publicly coming out as a polygamist. Now the Hendricksons are learning that a secret life was a lot easier to live than an open one. While Bill tries to gain a little respect at the Capitol, Barb turns to drinking, Nikki takes her raging bitch act to a whole new level and Margene reveals a long-kept secret that dates back to her entrance into the marriage. Facing hostility and judgement on all sides, the wives are finding it harder than ever to keep it together and the family is teetering on the brink of implosion.

I guess we're moving forward in time with the whole "I am a false prophet. God is a superstition" discourse. Paul Thomas Anderson must have liked Philip Seymour Hoffman take on the priesthood in Doubt, as he is putting his faith in him. Universal studios would be doing the same with a 35 million dollar faith based, period drama probably not of the Kirk Cameron kind, and despite the similarities in choice of year circa 1952, probably not the Jimmy Jones kind either. - I guess we're moving forward in time with the whole "I am a false prophet.
