TV Land has a new president of development and production: Keith Cox, formerly Evp of development and original programming, has been promoted. Cox isn’t filling the void left by former president Larry Jones, who left TV Land and parent company Viacom a year and a half ago as part of a reorganization at the beleaguered media conglomerate, but he is the top dog at the network. He’ll report to Cyma Zarghami, head of Viacom’s kids and family network group. “Keith has been instrumental in shaping TV Land’s original series over the last 10 years, first by bringing ‘Hot in Cleveland’ to.

TV Land has ordered 10 additional episodes of The Exes. It's not exactly clear however if this is a fourth season renewal or additional episodes for season three.
Earlier this evening, The Exes Twitter feed revealed, "Breaking #TheExes picked up 4 another season." Larry Jones, the President of TV Land, wrote to congratulate the cast and crew.
Actress Kelly Stables later tweeted, "Thanks to You @The_Exes was picked up for 10 more episodes! (2nd half of season 3!)"
An official press release is likely to be issued soon. Whether it's season four or a super-sized season three, we know there are lots more episodes on the way.
Updated: We now know that season three is being extended by 10 episodes, bringing the season total to 20 installments.

Cedric the Entertainer will star in a spinoff of Hot in Cleveland which TV Land is fast-tracking. Cedric the Entertainer is set to lense a guest shot on Hot in Cleveland later this month, reports Variety. On Hot in Cleveland he will play a minister who comes into contact with housemate stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. Apparently, after that episode is done, creator/exec producer Suzanne Martin of Cleveland will collaborate with Cedric on a pilot script for the spinoff. This will revolve around the minister character and if TV Land's Larry Jones and Executive Vice President Keith Cox like the script, the show will be ordered straight to series.

In 2003, The Dick Van Dyke Show was honored at the very first TV Land Awards with the Legend award. Surviving castmembers Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, and Larry Mathews were on hand to accept, along with series creator Carl Reiner. While on stage, Reiner commented that he'd been thinking about writing a reunion for the classic sitcom that would essentially be like a new episode of the show. While the audience watched, Reiner secured the involvement of the cast and a commitment from TV Land's president, Larry Jones.
What resulted was The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited, a light-hearted hour that brings back the characters and a very impressive replica of the classic living room set. Ray Romano, who was then starring on CBS' popular Everybody Loves Raymond, introduces the episode.
