- She was the uncredited "Friend" laughing with Jim Backus on his novelty laughing record "Delicious", released on Jubilee Records 5330 in 1958.
- During the Vietnam War in the 1960's Lenore and her husband Bob using their ham radio station provided "phone patches" between soldiers and sailors to their family and friends in the United States via "short wave". Lenore's call sign was W6NAZ. She would connect her ham radio equipment to the phone line and call relatives and friends stateside so they could talk to service men and women in Vietnam who were in a military radio station. Each side of the conversation could say a few sentences and then say "over". Lenore was well known and liked by amateur radio operators around the world.
