Richard Klevickis(1922-2000)

Wrote sixty scripts for "Wild Kingdom", with the first, "Where Deer and
Antelope Roam", airing October 18, 1980 in 220 US markets. That program
drew 35 million viewers. All these scripts were lost in a house fire at
his Kenosha home in 1989. Joined the Air Force in 1943. After the war,
worked as a news/sports writer for the Voice of America. During the
Korean War, did field reporting and commentary. Hobby: golf. Was a
fulltime film/TV scriptwriter for Kling Studios of Chicago, Illinois,
USA. Ashes scattered over the Atlantic Ocean.
