- Selected after a nationwide talent search in 1981 to represent the United States in Holland in a show entitled "Dancing with Kings" to commemorate the 200 year peace pact between the US and Holland.

He begged director Bruce Kessler to let him rest claiming that the repetition of the line, "Let me outta this car, I'm going to be sick," had caused him to be convinced that he would be sick. He resumed after a small rest.
