Touch and Anzac Girls have won key prizes at the 2014 Australian Cinematographers Society awards for South Australia and Western Australia.
Aaron Gully took the best cinema feature award for Touch, a mystery starring Leeanna Walsman, Matt Day and newcomer Onor Nottle, produced by Triptych Pictures. Julie Byrne and directed by Christopher Houghton.
The best telefeature, series, TV drama or comedy trophy went to Geoffrey Hall Acs for episode four of Screentime.s Anzac Girls. Hall also collected the Milton Ingerson award for best entry overall.
Jim Frater Acs took the dual prize for best dramatised documentary for The War That Changed Us episode 1 and for Desert War- Alamein, both produced by Electric Pictures. Andrew Ogilvie. Rossiter shot the animated short film Sleight of Hand, directed by Michael Cusack for South Australian-based animation company Anifex. The short has been accepted into competition in the Nashville Film Festival, The Athens International Film + Video Festival and the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film in Germany. .

Greig Fraser has taken the Milli Award for Australian Cinematographer of the Year for his work on 2009′s Bright Star, at last Saturday’s Acs National Awards in Adelaide.
Other winners include Dion Beebe for the Us feature Nine, Stephen Windon for The Pacific, and Calvin Gardiner for the dramatised documentary I Spry.
Ron Taylor, Valerie Taylor and Malcolm Richards were inducted into the Acs Hall of Fame. The ceremony was dedicated to the memory of cinematographer and owner of Lemac Film and Digital John Bowring Acs, who passed away last month.
