The women who accused former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State team doctor Larry Nassar of sexual abuse will be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2018 Espys, ESPN announced on Wednesday.

Former Daily Show correspondent Rob Riggle is taking his comedic chops to the big stage. The actor-comedian has signed on as the host of the 2012 Espy Awards this summer. The ceremony, televised live on Espn/Espnhd from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, celebrates and recaps some of the best and funniest sports moments throughout the entire year.

Kiefer Sutherland is taking a leap from the TV screen to the computer screen with his upcoming webseries, The Confession. Sutherland is the creator and star of the Brad Mirman directed series scheduled to premier in March 2011. The series will also star two-time Academy Award nominee, John Hurt, Michael Badalucco, and Sebastian Beacon. The show consists of ten episodes broadcast over Hulu and is distributed by the Digital Broadcasting Group, distributors of 2010’s Control TV. Other executive producers include Chris Young and Joseph Gomes of Dbg and Maura Mandt of Maggie Vision. The Confession begins on Christmas Eve, with a hit man (Sutherland) visits a priest (Hurt) for to confess his sins. Kiefer Sutherland, internet star? That’s the plan: EW has learned exclusively that Sutherland will follow up his critically-beloved run on 24 with a web series that’ll bow on Hulu this March. Dubbed The Confession, the 10 five-to-seven-minute webisodes will feature Sutherland as a hitman who has a theological discussion with a priest (John Hurt of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) about why his victims deserved to die. Jimmy Kimmel and NBA star LeBron James have been tapped to co-host the 15th anniversary of ESPN's ESPY Awards.
The two-hour awards show, which honors the best in sports and entertainment, will be taped at 6 p.m. July 11 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland. The telecast is set to air at 9 p.m. ET July 15.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ESPYs, ESPN will present additional programming to the ESPYs lineup. Dates will be announced soon for "The ESPYs Nomination Special", "Arthur Ashe Special", "ESPYs Preview Show" and "ESPYs Backstage". Additional unique content will be available on several multimedia platforms, including ESPN.com, ESPN360.com and ESPN International.
For the fourth time in the event's 15-year history, fans will determine the winners in all categories (except the Arthur Ashe Courage Award and other special awards) by voting online at www.espys.tv from June 25-July 10.
Meanwhile, Kimmel and James Will be the show's first-ever co-hosts.
"As we celebrate our 15th year of honoring the best sports stories, it's fitting that we have two hosts who reflect the spirit of the show: to bring together the biggest stars in sports and entertainment for one night," said Maura Mandt, ESPN executive producer for the 2007 ESPYs.
