Twenty years ago, you were cast in your breakout role as the vampire Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Did you ever imagine you’d be here now?
David Boreanaz: It was all timing, really. initially had an arc of 6 out of the 12 episodes.

The BBC has confirmed that the new series of Torchwood will premiere on July 1. A post on the show's official Facebook page confirms that the first episode of The New World will air on the same day in the UK and Us. The show's BBC One time-slot is currently set as 9pm, while a slot for Us cable channel Starz is yet to be announced. Torchwood has added Buffy the Vampire Slayer producer Kelly Manners to the team. Meanwhile, Eve Myles has rented a 1960s home in Hollywood, right under the sign to call home while filming the new season. But the good news is that she’s promised not to stay.
Gregg Araki’s omnisexual Kaboom is coming to IFC in January, giving you your chance to see Thomas Dekker get his bisexual on. Or that’s what the marketing print says, even if the press photos are pretty heterosexual.
The real David Karofsky is neither a bully nor a closet case, but he did go to school with Brad Falchuk, the co-creator of Glee. It seems that Falchuk names most characters he creates after people in his past. On Glee alone there’s Karofsky, Rachel Berry, and Puck is based on Noah “Zuck” Zuckerman. But nobody’s mad about it.

Former Buffy and Angel producer Kelly Manners has joined the production team for Torchwood: The New World. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Manners will begin work on the show next month, when production is expected to commence. Kim Manners, producer and director of The X-Files as well as a short stint as director on Supernatural, has passed away at the age of 59. He was well-known for his science fiction interests which included Star Trek: The Next Generation. Beyond that, he was also involved in several other hit television shows, making his directorial debut in 1978 with an episode of Charlie's Angels. Other notable credits include 21 Jump Street, Baywatch, and Mission: Impossible. Kim Manners grew up in the world of Hollywood all of his life. During his childhood, he worked closely with his father. His brother, Kelly Manners, was also a producer and director for Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.
