Writer Drew Daywalt's "Camera Obscura" will be showing exclusively on Daily Motion beginning October 1st and continuing until the 29th (Horror Movies). This film is a twenty episode webseries involving demon hunting in dark, damp basements. The October countdown is on for Mwg's supernatural thriller web series, Camera Obscura which is now just a week away. The new exclusive preview content out today includes the first continuous clip from the series, a minute's worth of an episode, which gives another brief tease into this dark chiller from director Drew Daywalt. Reagan Dale Neis stars as Clara who gets left an old book from her grandfather (Jack Klugman) that turns out to be filled with some nasty creatures from a parallel dimension. Opening the book lets them loose and that means Clara must take grandpa's old camera with the help of an La police detective (Donnie Jeffcoat) and recapture those bad boys, Ghostbusters style. Scary month (October) is almost here and ramp up for Camera Obscura is in full swing. Today we received some exclusive photos from the set along with the teaser trailer of Mwg's first delve into horror. We recently caught up with director Drew Daywalt last month to fill us in on what his paranormal thriller is all about. Fango got ahold of a couple of first photos (see ’em below) from Camera Obscura, an on-line horror series which recently wrapped in La. The 17-episode program will be distributed weekly on more than 20 platforms, including YouTube, MySpace and Koldcast, with a premiere date to be announced.

Isaiah Washington and Katherine Heigl have joined the cast of ABC's untitled Shonda Rhimes drama pilot, Barbara Hershey has come on board the WB Network's drama pilot The Mountain, Christa Miller has been tapped to star in CBS' untitled Andrew Kennedy comedy pilot and Sharon Lawrence has come on board ABC's untitled Stein/McCall comedy pilot. In other pilot casting news, Reagan Dale Neis has joined Fox's comedy The Robinson Brothers, while Emmy winner Ben Gazzara has come on board CBS' drama The Webster Report. The untitled Rhimes drama, from Touchstone TV, centers on female residents in a surgical training program. Washington will play Dr. Burke, a top surgeon at the hospital, a show dog and son of the hospital's chief of surgery (James Pickens Jr.). He replaces Paul Adelstein, who pulled out due to scheduling conflict. Heigl will play an intern.
