Has twice won Broadway's Tony Award as Best Costume Designer: in 2000
for "Kiss Me Kate" and in 2002 for "Thoroughly Modern Millie." He was
also nominated two other times in the same category: in 1997 for "The
Life;" and in 1998 for "Golden Child."
He was awarded the 1988 Joseph Jefferson Award for Costume Design for "Pal Joey", at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
