Earlier this year, we learned that Dolph Lundgren was shooting Kindergarten Cop 2. I was surprised to learn that this is actually happening, and now we have some official photos from the film featuring a frustrated Lundgren yelling at kids and other awkward interactions that the actor has with them.
In the film, Lundgren plays an undercover cop posing as a kindergarten teacher who is "on the trail of a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness protection program. Somehow it’s wound up in a kindergarten class." Lundgren will also have "an Indian sidekick named Sanjit" helping him track down a group of Albanian bad guys.
It's a shame they didn't get Arnold Schwarzenegger on board to team up with Lundgren in this ridiculous sequel. As I joked about in my initial report, the next Expendables movie should be patterned after Kindergarten Cop. I have to watch this movie...

Dolph Lundgren is stepping into the shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger to take on the classic role of a Kindergarten Cop. The movie is real and is currently filming in Vancouver.
The new film will be directed by Michael Don Paul, director of Jarhead 2: Field of Fire, from a script by David H. Steinberg (American Pie). The plot goes something like this: The Kindergarten cop and his Indian sidekick named Sanjit are on the trail of a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness protection program. Somehow it’s wound up in a kindergarten class.
I can’t imagine this going to theaters, but stranger things have happened. Like, remember that time Dolph Lundgren was in a sequel to Kindergarten Cop 25 years after the original? Crazy.

After Arnold Schwarzenegger returned to acting, his plan was to reprise many of his popular roles. There were plenty of fans who were hoping the actor would make a sequel to "Kindergarten Cop." And now, it seems that a sequel is in development, but it stars Dolph Lundgren. In the movie, Lundgren is a cop on the trail of a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness protection program. He then somehow ends up teaching a kindergarten class. Check out several photos from the set below.
