Educated in London from 1961 to 1976. Attended French school "Lycee
Francais de Londres - Charles de Gaulle" throughout. In 1976, settled
in Paris for Higher Education. Graduated with Degree in Journalism and
Degree in Sociology. Entered film industry in France as a third
assistant director/runner before becoming second AD, then first
assistant director, culminating this part of his career with feature
films "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" directed by Philip Kaufman -
produced by Saul Zaentz, and "Maladie d'Amour" directed by Jacques
Deray. Began producing commercials in 1987 providing bilingual
expertise to directors Patrice Leconte, David Bailey, Tony Scott, Marek
Kanievska, Hugh Johnson, Barney Edwards (Cannes Gold Lion 1989 for
Grant's), Andrew Gillman, Osbert Parker, Martin Brierly and Jean-Luc
Voulfow for clients including Chanel, Grant's, Lesieur, Danone,
Volkswagen & Ford Motors. Throughout the 90s, continued producing
commercials for Air Mauritius, Peugeot, & Air France, short films and
TV shorts. Founded and ran production company "Ma Maison" from 1997 to
2002. Founder in 2002 of Producers' Club "le cercle", still going
strong. Affiliated to CNC French National Film Centre as a Feature
Films Director & Producer. At present, develops and produces feature
films and documentaries as Producer, sometimes also acting as line
producer.
