Devon Sawa played three different roles across the first two seasons of the Chucky TV series, and in season 3 he’s taking on a fourth role: President James Collins. Chucky the killer doll ends up in the White House in this season (he has promised that “D.C. is gonna get Chucked up”), and in a new behind-the-scenes featurette, we get a tour of the Oval Office courtesy of Sawa. “The Masked Singer” finale concluded on Wednesday night with Queen of Hearts being crowned the Season 6 champ and claiming the Golden Mask over Bull (Todrick Hall). Her showstopping performances of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye and “Firework” by Katy Perry landed her in the winner’s circle where she pulled off her mask to reveal Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Jewel.
“It is just an honor,” Jewel confessed during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “It really is an honor to be in the hall of costumes and with the other amazing winners. Everybody was so talented on this show. It’s the privilege of a lifetime to get to be yourself. This show, oddly, really gets at your essence and I find that really special. “The Masked Singer” finale concluded on Wednesday night with Queen of Hearts winning the Golden Mask and defeating Bull in one of the closest votes in the history of the Fox reality TV competition. Bull gave an inspiring performance of “You Gotta Be” by Des’ree and a stunning, stripped-down rendition of “Invisible” by Hunter Hayes, but it wasn’t enough to dethrone the Queen of Hearts. The hooved singer was then forced to unmask in front of America and reveal himself as singer-songwriter and choreographer, Todrick Hall.
While Todrick fell short on his journey, Nicole Scherzinger won her first Golden Ear trophy when her first impression guess of Todrick was revealed. With three points this season, Nicole defeated fellow panelists Ken Jeong (2 points), Robin Thicke (1 point) and two-time Golden Ear champ Jenny McCarthy (1 point). Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched “The Masked Singer” Season 6, Episode 12, “Group B Finale,” which aired December 9 on Fox.
Singer Katharine McPhee and producer David Foster say “The Masked Singer” producers actually “undersold” how much fun they’d have as contestants on the hit Fox reality series. “We had the best time,” Foster said. “No regrets.” The couple were unmasked as the Banana Split on the twelfth episode of Season 6, “Group B Finale.”
“We didn’t have any summer plans,” McPhee said. “I was five months postpartum, and Covid was raging. We just thought, what are we going to do, sit at home all summer long and just look at each other? So we did that, we looked at each other for two or three weeks straight on the show. And just had so much fun. And I was very upset that I lost that...

The Group A finals of “The Masked Singer” concluded on Wednesday night with Bull beating out Skunk for a spot in the December 15 finale. The stinky critter belted out a spine-tingling rendition of “Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)” by the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, before duetting with Grammy winner Michael Bolton on the Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell classic, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Despite bringing down the house, Skunk was forced to unmask in front of America and reveal herself as Grammy winner Faith Evans.
“The Skunk is a lot of work, however, it was so much fun,” Faith confessed during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “It feels like I never left. It feels like I came back with about 20 extra pounds on my back, but … My son Ryder, he’s 14, he’s on the autism spectrum so we’ve been homeschooling him for three years.

After eight weeks of competition and over three dozen thrilling performances, Season 6 of “The Masked Singer” has reached the Final 4. For the first time ever, each quirky character will go head-to-head against their biggest rival when Bull faces Skunk in the Group A final on December 1 and Banana Split takes on Queen of Hearts in the Group B final on December 8. The winner of each group will then compete against each other for the first time in the season finale on December 15 before host Nick Cannon announces the winner.
Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger will continue to decipher the clues in hopes of naming each disguised celebrity before they’re forced to unmask in front of America. The contestants this season have a combined 85 Grammy nominations, 27 Grammy wins, 12 Emmy nominations, 12 Razzie Award nominations, three Academy Award nominations, two Super Bowl appearances and two lifetime achievement awards.

There’s no easy way to say this. “The Masked Singer” judges are earning a failing grade for their Season 6 guesses. Each week, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger put their best foot forward in trying to figure out the true identities of the celebrities hiding behind extravagant costumes. But of the 12 unmaskings so far in the sixth season of Fox’s reality TV show, the panelists have only correctly guessed two as their first impressions: Nicole pegged Natasha Bedingfield as Pepper and Ken named Dwight Howard as Octopus. That’s only a 16.67% accuracy rate, otherwise known as an “F.”

The Group B semi-finals took place on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” with two performers unmasking in front of America. After the Mallard was revealed to be “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, Caterpillar lost his head and was exposed as Emmy-nominated “Queer Eye” co-host Bobby Berk. Despite impressing the panel with his performance of “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, Bobby wasn’t able to take down Banana Split or Queen of Hearts, who will now compete in the Group B finals.

The Group B semi-finals took place on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” with two performers unmasking before the hour was over. Mallard was the first costumed crooner to reveal himself as “Duck Dynasty” reality TV Star Willie Robertson. His performance of “Fly” by Sugar Ray wasn’t enough to advance the billed bird to the Group B finals.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched “The Masked Singer” Season 6, Episode 10, “Group B Semi-Finals,” which aired November 17 on Fox.
There has perhaps never been a more on-the-nose costume on “The Masked Singer” than “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson as the Mallard. In a reality TV heavy night for “The Masked Singer,” Robertson was unmasked as Mallard, and “Queer Eye” star/interior designer Bobby Berk was revealed to be the Caterpillar, as seen on the tenth episode of Season 6, “Group B Semi-Finals.”
“I was just hiding in plain sight, I guess,” said Robertson — who pointed out that technically the character he was dressed as is not actually a mallard. “That thing was awesome, and I let them know it’s not a mallard, it’s a wood duck. I knew the difference, but then we thought it would be a funny throwoff clue.”
For Mallard, no one got Robertson right.

Just one week after Ken Jeong wasted the Take It Off buzzer on “The Masked Singer,” Jenny McCarthy followed in his unfortunate footsteps. “I’m so ashamed!” she exclaimed after she found out that her guess of Jake Gyllenhaal for the Caterpillar was dead wrong. As per the show’s rules, if a panelist presses the red button and their guess turns out to be incorrect, they will be “significantly punished.” Jenny’s punishment for the fiasco, explained host Nick Cannon, was to be Ken Jeong‘s personal housekeeper.

“The Masked Singer” is down to the final few episodes with the four remaining acts in Group B — Banana Split (a duo), Caterpillar, Mallard and Queen of Hearts — competing in the semi-final on November 17. Of these contenders for the Golden Mask. the Mallard is the one who looks like he is having the most fun. He made it through to this stage of the competition based on his performance on episode 7 of “Play Something Country” by Brooks & Dunn.
We are surprised that he has made it this far when the likes of Toni Braxton and Ruth Pointer have been sent home by the four judges. We’d figured out who they were before they were unmasked by host Nick Cannon.

All season long, “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon has teased a brand new twist, the Take It Off buzzer, and promised that if a panelist improperly used it they would be “significantly punished.” Now we know, thanks to Ken Jeong fumbling his guess of Pepper, that the punishment is to wash and detail all of Nick’s cars. It’s unclear how many vehicles Nick actually owns, but he recently showed off his massive collection with car enthusiast Jay Leno (watch below).
“You got it wrong!” Nick shouted at “Dead Wrong Ken Jeong” after he guessed Sara Bareilles was hiding inside the spicy hot costume. She wasn’t. Ken was adamant that he was correct, so he rushed the stage to try to remove Pepper’s mask, only to be picked up by the show’s bodyguards and returned to his seat. “Somebody get the doctor a doctor,” Nick declared for all to hear.

The Group B performers from “The Masked Singer” were feeling grateful on Wednesday night’s “Giving Thanks” episode, but after making their wildcard debut, Beach Ball was immediately bounced from the competition. The two-faced toy tried to get the party started with a performance of “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus, but the off-key duet led them straight to an unmasking ceremony. Reality TV superstars Honey Boo Boo and Mama June were revealed to be the secret celebrity singers inside Beach Ball.
“It was definitely very hot,” Honey Boo Boo admitted during their unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “We had to move the mouth, make sure we don’t roll off the stage. When “The Masked Singer” returns after the World Series, viewers should prepare themselves for a history-making moment as Jenny McCarthy contemplates hitting the Take It Off buzzer. Remember, this monumental twist was added to this show at the beginning of Season 6 and is a way for a panelist to earn two points toward the Golden Ear trophy, as opposed to just one. If a judge presses the buzzer and they are correct in their guess, the singer will unmask on the spot and be sent home immediately. Conversely, if they’re wrong, the panelist will be “significantly punished” — whatever that means.

After five weeks of competition, two front-runners have emerged as the likeliest to win Fox’s “The Masked Singer” Season 6: Banana Split and Bull. According to Gold Derby winner predictions, these costumes have what it takes to go the distance and claim the Golden Mask in the December season finale. Banana Split has leading 3/1 odds to win, while Bull comes in second place at 37/10 odds.
This season’s ultimate champion will join past winners Monster (T-Pain), Fox (Wayne Brady), Night Angel (Kandi Burruss), Sun (LeAnn Rimes) and Piglet (Nick Lachey).

At the start of this sixth season of “The Masked Singer,” Fox announced there would be a total of 16 costumes taking the stage throughout the fall. As of this week’s fifth episode, viewers have already been introduced to 14 of them, which means there are still two wildcards left to meet this season. Beach Ball and Jester, where you been hidin’? See high-res photos of these late additions down below.

The wildcard concept was first introduced in Season 5 as a way to freshen up the reality TV show and keep things entertaining. Instead of having three groups that season, producers decided to have just two groups, and to add new costumes after people were eliminated. There were four wildcards that year: Bulldog (Nick Cannon), Orca (Mark McGrath), Crab (Bobby Brown) and Yeti (Omarion). Yeti made it the farthest in the competition,...

Wednesday night belonged to mysterious musicians and first responders as The Masked Singer topped the evening’s demo ratings and Chicago Fire walked away with the most viewers.
After tying for second last week with Chicago Med, The Masked Singer returned as Wednesday’s highest-rated program drawing in a 0.9 in the 18-49 demographic and 4.31 million viewers, up in both counts from the previous installment. Yesterday’s installment revealed Ruth Pointer of the Pointer Sisters to be underneath the Cupcake, making The Masked Singer‘s ratings-topping episode even sweeter.
In the same hour, Survivor was down from previous weeks but remained CBS’ top-performing title of the evening. Both Chicago Med and The Goldbergs stayed stable from last week.
At 9 p.m., Chicago Fire dominated the night’s viewership, drawing in 7.10 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating, keeping in line with previous episodes. ABC peaked with the latest installment...

A Grammy-winning superstar was revealed on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer” when Cupcake was eliminated and Ruth Pointer of The Pointer Sisters was unmasked. The diva’s performance of “Finesse” by Bruno Mars got the audience grooving but wasn’t enough to stop her Group B competitors from outshining her.

Ruth had not planned on joining the competition as a soloist and admitted her sister, Anita Pointer, was originally planning to sing alongside her. “There were supposed to be two Cupcakes,” Ruth said during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “Anita is having some health issues that we couldn’t avoid so I ended up doing it by myself.” In a message to her sister, Ruth added, “Sweetheart, I did what I came to do. Nicole Scherzinger has lost the Golden Ear trophy two years in a row to rival panelist Jenny McCarthy, but she’s hoping there won’t be a third. “I’m out for blood this season,” she revealed during the October 13 episode of Fox’s ratings juggernaut. So far in “The Masked Singer” Season 6, the judges are having an abysmal time guessing the identities of the secret celebrities, with only Ken Jeong getting a first impression point right. Nicole, Jenny and Robin Thicke are still stuck at zero first impression points after five episodes and six unmaskings.

Last time around was particularly bad for Nicole as she finished Season 5 without a single first impression point. That’s no doubt what’s driving her renewed bloodlust this year when it comes to competing for the Golden Ear. Jenny...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched “The Masked Singer” Season 6, Episode 5, “Date Night,” which aired October 13 on Fox.
Ruth Pointer was so excited to be on “The Masked Singer,” but a victory wasn’t automatic — and in the end, she had to jump off the stage, as the Pointer Sisters member was unmasked at the end of the fifth episode of Season 6, “Date Night.”
Nicole Scherzinger got it right with Ruth Pointer. Ken Jeong named Tina Turner as his pick. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Grace Jones. Robin Thicke said it was Leslie Jones.
Pointer as Cupcake sang “Finesse” by Bruno Mars. Her previous song was “Heatwave,” by Martha Reeves & the Vandellas.
“I am a hopeless romantic! I have often called myself a Black Liz Taylor,” Pointer, as Cupcake, said in her voiceover. “Because if I fall in love with a guy, I’m all in.

Season 6 of “The Masked Singer” is shaping up to be the most competitive to date. It kicked off last week with a double-header showcasing the seven stars in Group A. Three of them have already been sent packing: Octopus (Dwight Howard), Mother Nature (Vivica A. Fox) and Pufferfish (Toni Braxton). This week it is Group B that is in the spotlight. Six celebrities are contending disguised as Banana Split (a pairing), Cupcake, Dalmatian, Mallard and Queen of Hearts.

Singer Bonnie Pointer, who co-founded the Grammy-winning Pointer Sisters in 1969 with her sister June, died Monday at 69 years old. Expanding to a quartet with the addition of Anita and Ruth Pointer, the group’s early days were notable for their campy chic attire, their vocal style a throwback to the Thirties and Forties. But in 1974, after scoring a hit with the bouncy Allen Toussaint-penned “Yes We Can Can,” the Pointers released the twangy “Fairytale,” which earned them their sole entry on the country chart at Number 37.

It’s no secret that Alicia Keys can sing, but thanks to Jimmy Fallon and his “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” it’s clear that her talents stretch far beyond her own music library.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Tuesday, the 36-year-old nervously took on the challenge of performing silly songs in the style of famous artists — but it only took her a few notes to realize she was really good at it.
First up, Keys was tasked with performing the childhood rhyme “Miss Mary Mack” as her fellow judge on The Voice, Gwen Stefani.

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
Everything that happened last night on "The Tonight Show" was completely amazing, but let's start things off with Madonna, who sat down with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon to sing "Holiday" with classroom instruments. Biggest takeaway: The Queen of Pop definitely needs to spend more time hitting a cowbell.
Even more amazingly, Madonna made her stand up debut on "The Tonight Show," and to be honest she was pretty funny. Madge basically mused on dating younger guys -- specifically how she accidentally asked her son, Rocco, if she could scope out his friends. That's not awkward or anything.

Today is Barbra Streisand‘s 72nd birthday, and like Elton John last month, coming up with a tribute to one of the greatest performers of all time is daunting. (But we have tried).
So this year, let’s take a look at Barbra’s lesser-known songbook. Everyone knows “People” and “Evergreen,” but what about the minor hits we treasure, the singles that got lost in the wake of her mega-hits.
What are your favorite forgotten Barbra songs?
Here are my top five:
5. Any Of The Singles From Emotion
After the Yentl soundtrack, Barbra made a return to contemporary pop with 1984′s Emotion, which became her lowest charting album in a decade, and garnered some of the worst reviews of her career. Coincidentally, it’s one of my favorite Barbra albums. The first single Left In The Dark was an hysterical melodrama produced by the king of glorious wretched excess Jim Steinman,...

Note to Sami, Kate, and Gabi: Before you dump a body in the river … make sure he’s dead
Okay, does anyone else get a definite “Three Witches” vibe when Sami, Kate, and Gabi are together?
Woo-Hoo! Take me to the river … We get another look at the hilarious body dumping scene. This is what I want from my soap operas, dammit! Nick feels the cold water and springs to life, grabbing at Sami while Kate and Gabi scream … bloody murder … sorry.
The current pulls Nick away, as Gabi screams “He’s alive!” Sami responds “Well, not any more.” Oh Sami, sometimes I do adore you.
Will and Sonny are still wearing their eggplant finest. Will apologizes for telling Sonny he was making him choose between him and Ari. But what made Sonny came home? Sonny says, “I ran into your mother.” Will quips “And so you ran shelter? That’s a good call.

When Disney got Elton John and Tim Rice to create the music for The Lion King, the result was one of the most popular Disney soundtracks ever (if not the most popular); so how is it that the Oliver & Company soundtrack featuring Billy Joel, Huey Lewis, Bette Midler, and Ruth Pointer (of The Pointer Sisters) has gone mostly forgotten? It’s certainly not because of the quality of the music, as it has a few very catchy numbers. The best answer might ultimately be that because Oliver & Company fell between the cracks during a major shift in how Disney handled home video releases, it took the movie years to arrive on VHS, then DVD, and now Blu-ray, and consequently its lack of availability has made it difficult for new generations to sink their teeth into it. And maybe that’s not all bad, because outside of seeing it for the...
