After a seven-year battle with cancer, Lorena Rojas has passed away at age 44. The Mexican soap opera actress, who starred in well over a dozen telenovelas, died in Miami on Monday, her talent agency, Latin We, confirmed. Her team explained that Rojas, "who bravely defeated the disease at different stages since being diagnosed in 2008, took her last breath peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her family, her boyfriend and her closest friends." Lorena Rojas, the popular Mexican actress who starred in more than a dozen telenovelas, died Monday in Miami after a seven-year battle with cancer. She was 44. Rojas "took her last breath peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her family, her boyfriend and her closest friends," the talent management agency Latin We said in a statement.
