Phillip identified the potential for mycelium at an early stage. “Right at the beginning I was like ‘This can be an art material’ and so I wanted to create furniture out of it”, he said. Chairs, stools, tables; all possible with mycelium and all completely made from mushrooms growing on agricultural waste.
