During filming of Disney's
Tom and Huck (1995), the filmmakers assigned Eric to stand on a metallic frame to look as if he was fatally falling into the chasm. He landed on a bunch of cushions concealed by a green screen. This chasm was actually a temporary film set. It was ten feet tall and twenty feet wide.
