We've included some supporting statements from our esteemed voters, along with links to our reviews of the films. Disagree with the results? Perturbed by the absence of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters? Let us know in the thread below.
10. Man of Steel
"Finally showed what fighting with superpowers could be like. Also a more adult take on superheroes" Chris Doré
"I thought matching the Richard Donner film was an impossible task but I was wrong.

The recession has highlighted the need for affordable, efficient, quick-to-build structures in urban areas. Because while many of us want to live in pricey cities like Seattle and San Francisco, few people can afford the steel and concrete structures that are nice to live in (and hold up in earthquakes). You probably think of prefab houses sitting alone, out in the desert, or something like the post-apocalyptic Habitat 67. But Sustainable Living Innovations is going to soon unveil the beginnings of the new urban built environment: the prefab skyscraper.
Next week, Sustainable Living Innovations, a group made up of architectural design, construction, and engineering consultants, will unveil its first model unit in Seattle--a one-story prefab structure that shows off the design Sli hopes to use for sky-high buildings. Arlan Collins, principal at CollinsWoerman (the architecture firm behind the group) explains that in Seattle, a wood-frame apartment building with parking is $130,000 a unit.

Kate Edwards, partner of brand-funded content company Quail Content reports from Mipcom 2010.
For the first time ever, Mipcom put together a program about the rise of brand-funded content. This day’s program coincided with the announcement that @Radical Media was being bought (60 percent) by Fremantle worldwide – this only further proves the relevance of such a convergence model both in today’s clutter interruption advertising market and the TV production space.
The branded-content seminars were full and the panels put together were representative of some of the sector’s Big players – again only proving the merit of this form of content creation and moving further toward legitimising it. The panel included Peter Tortorici – GroupM Entertainment UK, Doug Scott Ogilvy Entertainment Us, Robert Friedman @Radical Media Us, Domonique Delport – Haavas Intl France, Cameron Death NBC Digital Studios, Marcus Vinton – Publicis Entertainment UK.
The key out-take of their mission in the brand-funded revolution...

The online video advertising model isn’t broken. It’s yet to be discovered. Online video is the fastest growing medium in the history of the world, so it’s easy to forget the longest-running web series only dates back to 2003, YouTube launched merely four years ago, and it’s been just over three years since Steve Jobs showed an episode of Tiki Bar TV on his video iPod. (To give that timeline at least some perspective, it took 10 years for television to figure out soap operas were financially viable vehicles to sell soap, and even Sergey and Larry needed 3 years to discover AdWords.) OnfrontNYC showed that when brands heed Jordan Levin’s call to action to help discover an advertising model that works, they’ll have a helluva lot of of quality programs on which to pitch their products. Next week, we’ll be posting a rundown of the...
