JoJo Siwa’s “Bounce,” which had Will Smith as a producer, has been bounced off Paramount’s development slate, TheWrap has learned.
The project, which would have marked the YouTuber and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant’s big-screen feature debut, fell apart months ago and is unrelated to Smith slapping presenter Chris Rock during the Oscars ceremony last month.
Last year, Siwa came out as part of the LGBTQ community to her millions of followers via social media, which she said was a move encouraged by her girlfriend.
Siwa was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2020 and competed on “Dancing With the Stars” last year, making history as the first contestant to dance with a same-sex partner. She also served as creative director and executive producer of the E! reality competition series “Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution.”

HBO Max released the official trailer for the upcoming reality dating series “Fboy Island,” which will premiere on July 29.
Hosted by Nikki Glaser, the series follows three women, Nakia Renee, Cj Franco and Sarah Emig, who move to a tropical island where they’re joined by 24 men. Half of the men are “nice guys” also looking for a real relationship, while the others are self-proclaimed “f-boys” competing for a cash prize. By the finale, all will be revealed — who is a nice guy, who is an “f-boy” and who will the women ultimately choose. The series is a social experiment that asks the age-old question: can “f-boys” truly reform or do nice guys always finish last?
Glaser will executive produce alongside creator Elan Gale, Jason Goldberg, Ben Bitonti and showrunner Sam Dean.

JoJo Siwa and Nickelodeon are re-teaming for their most ambitious collaboration yet: a musical movie about the 17-year-old singer’s life.
“So I, right now, am in Vancouver, Canada. And I’m so excited, me and my friends at Nickelodeon, we are making a musical and I am so pumped up about it,” Siwa told Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show.” “This musical is centered around my life, and also centered around being yourself and centered around staying true to who you are. And even when the world is telling you, ‘It’s not going to happen. It’s not going to happen,’ you are believing, because you’re you. And that’s what this movie is all about.”

Is it possible to spend an entire episode focused on the First Blade and not really learn much of anything about it in the process? Sure! Never underestimate the power of Supernatural’s crack team of writers!
That doesn’t mean we didn’t learn some interesting, non-blade related things. Let’s discuss.
The King of Hell Has a Problem…
And I’m not just talking about the fact that he was trying to bond with Sam while Sam was trying to plot his death because he maybe sees too many parallels between himself and the demon blood and Crowley and the human blood… or maybe because he doesn’t like Dean getting chummy with him. No. I mean an actual problem with… um… “substance” abuse.
Given that Abaddon is right on his tail, picking up a debilitating addiction to human blood is probably not his smartest move, but he...

Comforting Skin Trailer. Derek Franson‘s Comforting Skin (2011) movie trailer stars Victoria Bidewell, Tygh Runyan, Jane Sowerby, Phil Granger, and Ava Hughes. Comforting Skin‘s plot synopsis: “a supernatural thriller that follows Koffie, a lonely young woman who’s desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.”
Damn does this horror movie look good and somehow it “was shot last spring on a budget of roughly $250,000.” I’m impressed.
On the tattoo special effects in Comforting Skin:
That was done through the use of digital animation and compositing techniques, requiring custom code developed by VFX Supervisor Ollie Rankin.
Comforting Skin also stars Eugene Lipinski, Jenn Griffin, Paul Jarrett, Laura Soltis, John Tench, Stephen Lofstrom, Jesai Jayhmes, Nicola Rollet, and Jared Cote.

Two days ago, production began in Vancouver for the second season of Hiccups. For the moment, CTV, a Canadian TV network, hasn't announced any premiere date for this Canadian TV series.
In Hiccups, Nancy Robertson (Wanda from Corner Gas) plays Millie Upton a popular children's author who just happens to have anger issues and several other emotional "hiccups." On a whim, Millie impulsively enlists the aid of a life coach Stan Dirko (Brent Butt). Unfortunately, Stan isn't a particularly good life coach. In fact, Millie is his first client ever. So, essentially we have a woman with no idea how to behave, being guided by someone who has no idea what he's doing. It's the lost leading the lost, with the best of intentions, high expectations, and very little success.
The regular members of the cast also includes Laura Soltis (The Guard) as Joyce, David Ingram (Smallville) as Taylor Rymes,...
