General Hospital spoilers tease that Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) have quite a contentious history.
Sonny blames Cates for abandoning his younger brother, Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) when Stone was dying. Cates did ask Stone to leave Port Charles with him but Sonny still sees it as abandonment. Sonny was there for Stone as he passed away.
In addition, Cates blames Sonny for hurting the love of his life, Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne) by corrupting her with drugs at a very young age.

But Karen wasn’t the only woman who has been involved with both Sonny and Cates. Cates and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) were romantically involved as well, although he left her for Karen.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) really isn’t working for Pikeman or trying to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down.
Instead, like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was forced to do by the FBI’s John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) he’s infiltrated Pikeman for the Wsb and is playing Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure).
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Has Old Pikeman Contacts
Without a doubt, Valentin does have old Pikeman contacts from his mercenary days when he did help run Pikeman Security Group. But when Sonny was first put in contact with them, Valentin warned him to watch his back with them-why would he do that if he was out to kill him?
Valentin graduated from Wsb spy school as a counterintelligence analyst, and one of their best and brightest under the name Ivan Theodore.

General Hospital spoilers spill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been a pivotal figure in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) life. While they’ve never been on the same side of the law, Anna isn’t unfamiliar with breaking code to get the job done.
She’s certainly never been one to strictly go by the book when she was working for the Dvx or the Wsb. But now she’s the Police Commissioner of Port Charles once again, and she’s taking her new title seriously after the fallout she suffered from her past as a double agent being exposed.
Holding herself accountable, she thinks she’s ready to go after Sonny, even though it means attacking the one person who was there for her daughter — Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberley McCullough) — when Michael ‘Stone’ Cates (Michael Sutton) died and Anna was nowhere to be found.
Years later, Anna still struggles...

General Hospital viewers have wondered why The Powers That Be (Tptb) brought John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) back to Port Charles.
Now, we know.
The recent episode of General Hospital put the pieces together about where Jason (Steve Burton) has been and who has been giving him directions.
When Monsters and Critics broke down the possibilities of who was after Sonny (Maurice Benard), both Jagger and Jason were on the list, but the possibility of Jason working on Jagger’s order didn’t cross our minds.
After Jason’s “dream” in the most recent episode, viewers learned he was caught after escaping the collapsed tunnel and flown to Quantico. There, Jagger could get his hands on Sonny’s right-hand man.
There’s plenty more to be told, and when the connections are put together, there will be many shocked people in Port Charles.

I cannot speak to anything that Tyler Christopher, who died on Tuesday, did following his initial run as General Hospital‘s Nikolas Cassadine. But I do want to take a moment to reflect on, and celebrate, how he — in his first acting role ever, I believe? — rose to the occasion after being dropped into one of Gh‘s best twists ever.
Christopher, lore tells us, first auditioned for the Gh role of Stone Cates (which instead went to Michael Sutton). Years later, though, he successfully made a run at the role of Nikolas, another brand-new character that was inserted into...

V.C. Andrews' Dawn's Joey McIntyre Teases Secrets of the Morning and Playing Naughty Michael Sutton!
It goes without saying that Lifetime lands the best actors for their Vc-Andrews-verse sagas.
And landing a New Kids On The Block member is right up there with their greatest hits.

Of course, nothing topped chatting with the heartbreaker himself as he discussed the quick turnaround of getting this role, his great working chemistry with lead Brec Bassinger, and so much more.
We were fortunate enough to catch up with McIntyre ahead of the SAG-AFTRA strike to discuss the project. Check out our full interview below!

Thanksgiving may be over, but actor Maurice Benard still has something he’s thankful for: After 18 years playing mob boss Sonny Corinthos Jr. on General Hospital, the show’s writers still deliver new story lines that get him jazzed. “I’m very excited about the stuff I’ve done in the last month, when Sonny and Kate go to Bensonhurst,” says Benard of episodes that kick off today and deal with Sonny’s childhood abuse at the hands of his stepfather. “You know what it is? In Part One of our interview with Michael Sutton for World AIDS Day, the acclaimed actor discussed taking on the role of HIV patient Stone Cates on General Hospital, and the challenges he faced while doing this beloved story. In this final part, we discuss current research and vaccine trials aimed toward eradicating HIV, as well as the toll this story took on him personally.
We Love Soaps TV: I am currently doing outreach and education for current HIV vaccine trials that are being conducted through the National Institute of Health. The biggest obstacle I encounter are younger people who don’t think HIV affects their lives. What might you say to someone who doesn’t perceive HIV is a reality?
Michael Sutton: Unless you have some sort of religious ideas about abstinence, most people are sexually active. I think that the responsibility that comes with that is to make yourself aware.

Here are a few small clips from the early AIDS storylines on daytime soap operas. There isn't much of the Dawn Rollo story online. It wasn't very long or that well written, but it was the first one that started. The Cindy Parker story was fantastic with Ellen Wheeler giving one of the best performances in daytime history. You can find bits and pieces of it online. The Jessica Blair storyline was well done by Bill Bell and only a small portion of it can be found online. The Stone Cates storyline continues to impact to this day (his ghost returned in 2010) on General Hospital. Look for interview with Michael Sutton later today.
Another World: A musical montage of Scott and Dawn after Dawn's death from AIDS in March 1988. Barbara Bush played Dawn Rollo. Dawn, who was a virgin, had contracted HIV from a blood transfusion she received from her prostitute mother.

TV Guide Magazine spoke with the Emmy-nominated Sutton, who quit acting several years ago and became hugely successful in the L.A. restaurant and nightclub biz. He currently owns the hot West Hollywood lounge Guys & Dolls....

Just three days before their Sunday wedding, Khloe Kardashian and fiancé Lamar Odom each stepped out separately Thursday night for their respective bachelorette and bachelor parties - a last taste of the single life. Odom celebrated at West Hollywood lounge Guys and Dolls with pals, including some of his L.A.
