- Arik Ben Treston was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel to a pair of world-hopping creative American parents. His father spent years performing classical piano around the world and taught music at the Albert Schweitzer College in Switzerland. His mother attended the LaGuardia School of Performing Arts (FAME) and acted for years in Summer Stock plays and other performances around the country. Also an avid writer, she has had her work produced by the BBC and has finished 2 plays and one screenplay which are being shopped around. Arik's artistic roots date back to his great-grandfather who was one of Vaudeville's biggest stars and worked with all of the top names of the time. Arik's first film role, in the 1996 critically acclaimed comedy Puddle Cruiser (1996) came about by chance as he was interning at a local historic play theatre during a summer break from college. He auditioned for the role and got it practically on the spot. Since that film, Arik completed college (which was spent writing, directing and starring in plays) and now works in the film industry for a studio as their head of marketing and PR. He is actively involved with development and production as well. On the side, Arik records many Voice-Overs for radio commercials, corporate videos, cartoons and more.- IMDb Mini Biography By: allfilm@yahoo.com
