- You never know. You hear that phone ring and you just never know who might be on the other end. Could be anybody. Could be the big one.
- I want to admit up front, I'm not the leading man. If I get a major role in a Western the only thing I'll get to kiss is the horse. But there's definitely a place for someone like me. I tend to get the heavyset, swarthy ethnic roles. Latins and so forth. I'm kind of a generic ethnic type. People mistake me for all kinds of things but that's okay. Look at how far Danny DeVito's come. He's no Clark Gable.
- Robin Givens isn't in there, but Tommy Vee is. Don't ask me how I got in there - I have no idea. They called one day to verify information on me they had gathered. I sure wasn't going to say, 'Why are you putting ME in?' And there I am. (Regarding his inclusion in the premiere issue of Who's Who in Entertainment)
- Actors are the the post office's best friends. I send out dozens of 8-by-10s and hundreds of these picture post cards to casting directors every year. I keep the post office in business.
- I was hired over the phone as a disc jockey by a Racine radio station. But when I'm unloading trucks I ask: Is this work just acting or real life?
- I want to admit up front, I'm not the leading man. If I get a major role in a Western the only thing I'll get to kiss is the horse. Ideally, I'd like to make Kenosha my home base and work regularly on the West Coast. What I've done so far is just seconds on the TV screen, sure. But you never know who is going to see you for those seconds and say, 'Hey, that's just the guy I'm looking for. That's exactly who I need.'
- I do just about everything. But I don't juggle and I don't jump through hoops. No burning hoops, please. They tend to singe the eyebrows.
- This isn't Hamlet. But it's a challenge. And it's fun. It also pays very well, which is is why ifs so incredibly competitive.
