Frank Veloz and his first wife Yolanda had four children together. They were Nick, Tony, Yolanda Veloz and Guy.
He and his wife became professional dancers after winning the New York City and State Championship in 1927.
In 1942, 1944, and 1946 Veloz & Yolanda performed in Dancing With The Stars at the Hollywood Bowl. At the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, they played to sold out audiences for all three seasons.
Allegedly owed much of their early success to the prohibition-era mobster Dutch Schultz who gave them access to some of the swankier night clubs.
Ballroom dancer. One half of the dance team "Veloz and 'Yolanda'".
