- The best exercise is the exercise that you will do on a regular basis. And it doesn't matter what it is, if it's walking, swimming, playing tennis, or lifting weights. Whatever you enjoy doing and can get yourself to do on a regular basis is the right exercise. ... The main thing is to feel good, because if you feel good, you look good and live longer. ... Life is so fabulous. A little effort is all it takes.
- Sex doesn't have to stop when you reach sixty. If you're worried about performance, remember: Doing it one time well is a lot better than doing it fourteen times badly.
- Breasts are like fingerprints...no two are alike.
- [being a sex symbol] I find it kind of fun to be a sex symbol. When I was growing up, it was my brother who was the pretty one because he had natural blonde hair and blue eyes. I was the one who was not so attractive. So it was fun for me when I first got a body. All of a sudden, people went, "WOW!" I enjoyed it, because I'd been ugly for so long.
- [dancing topless at 15] I auditioned for London's Windmill Theatre when I completed high school at 15, and got the job. My teacher from the Sussex School of Dance took me there. I had dreams of being a ballerina, but my breasts got too big, so the Windmill Theatre was perfect. I got the job as one of the lead dancers, topless, at 15.
- [her developing physique] On my 14th birthday I woke up -and there were my breasts! Ironically, my mother had no breasts at all. I even remember her going through all kinds of different things, like the blowup falsies, rubber falsies, the whole thing. I have my grandmother's body. She had large breasts.
- [being well endowed] I know that some well-endowed women don't like it when they meet a man and he just focuses on their big breasts, but it never bothered me. Why should I get mad? I've been blessed.
- [Dan Pastorini] My husband didn't want me posing for [men's] magazines, and that was fine with me. It didn't matter to me until, without telling me, he appeared in Playgirl! I'm too liberated for that baloney, what's good for you is good for me, so our deal was off from then on. I did get back at him. When he asked me what I thought of his layout, I said it was no big deal!
- [appearing at memorabilia shows] The main reason I declined doing them, at least until five or six years ago, was that you sit there and sell your autographed pictures. I always thought, "Oh my God, how embarrassing if I sit there and nobody comes up." I went through my filing cabinet of stuff and just filled a bag. I spread it out on the table and couldn't believe the money I made! My regret is that I threw out a lot of stuff that would've been worth money to these collectors.
- [meeting Elvis during filming of King Creole] So we end up in his bedroom. He starts to try to make love to me. And I said, 'Oh I'm really sorry, I'm a virgin.' So when he found out I was a virgin he picked up his guitar and sat on his bed and sang to me for about two hours. He was gorgeous in those days. I couldn't wait to tell all my girlfriends.
