Actress Megha Sharma has opened up on quitting the ongoing show ‘Pandya Store’, citing lack of screen time and lines as the reasons behind her decision. Megha, who has been part of shows like ‘Baal Krishna’ and ‘Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, played the role of Chhabili in ‘Pandya Store’.
“I was part of the show for about 9-10 months, and I really enjoyed my role for the first four months. But then things started repeating, and my character wasn’t growing. I wasn’t getting much screen time, so I felt like I was hitting a dead-end. I needed to put a stop to it,” Megha said.
“So I quit the show because my character wasn’t developing and I hardly had any screen time or lines. I thought about it a lot, but when I realised that I wasn’t getting much opportunity to shine, I had to...

Starring Taapsee Pannu, Abhilash Thapliyal, Gulshan Devaiah
Directed by Ajay Bahl
What is this suspense thriller with strikingly rich visuals doing on an Ott platform? The handsomely shot , beautifully composed frames which convey a sense of brooding melancholy must be seen on the large screen.
I did just that. I felt sorry for those who have to home-watch Nilesh Wagh’s meticulous production design and Sudhir K Chaudhary’s magical cinematography with every frame whispering, what’s the name of the game?
In this admirable adaptation of the Spanish thriller Julia’s Eyes, Taapsee Pannu plays twins named …no, not Sita and Geeta but Gayatri and Gautami. Gautami’s sudden death sends Gayatri with her supportive husband(Gulshan Devaiah) scurrying for answers to Nainital where Gautami lived.
There is a killer out there. We know it. Mysteriously even after his identity is revealed we don’t see his...

She plays a ‘conservative’ Gujarati mother in the Zee daily, Ram Milayee Jodi. But Krutika Desai, best remembered as a princess on the Doordarshan show Chandrakanta, says that the show happened out of nowhere. “Do Saheliyaan had wrapped up abruptly. I was disappointed because the show closed in just three months. I was ready to pack for on a family vacation when this role came by. I loved the way writer and co-producer Rajita Sharma had constructed the story and characters,” says Desai. The daily is about two culturally diverse individuals, who make an odd pair because their lifestyles and sensibilities ...

New Delhi, Sep 25 – Krutika Desai, who has been in show business since the 1980s, has seen the TV industry grow technically by leaps and bounds, but feels content has deteriorated.
‘In television, story is the hero. If you look at good old days, you will see how strong the scripts were. How important every character was. Not like today when you have a story revolving around just one character,’ Krutika told Ians in an interview.
She is still known by her screen name Sabya in popular television soap ‘Chandrakanta’.
‘There was room for everyone to perform, there were different.
