As vice president of unscripted programming, Mary Conlon oversees the
day-to-day operations of AMC's current original unscripted programming,
as well as the development of new projects. Conlon has overseen season
2 of The Pitch, Comic Book Men, Small Town Security and Talking Dead,
as well as the premiere seasons of Immortalized, Freakshow, Showville
and Owners Manual. She also oversees an active development slate with
some of the top film makers and producers in the business.
Conlon started her career at AMC as a production assistant and has held several roles within the company. During her tenure at AMC, she has produced Making Of specials for original series Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Broken Trails, executive produced Sunday Morning Shootout and Storymakers with Peter Gruber and Peter Bart and executive produced The American Cinamatheque Tributes to Julia Roberts and Samuel Jackson.
Conlon has won numerous Promax and BDA awards for short-form programming and garnered three Daytime Emmy nominations and two wins for Outstanding Special Class Series for Behind the Screen. She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
