On July 24, 2007 he passed away in his sleep from an apparent breathing problem (which his father believed to be sleep apnea). He was 34.
His mother died when he was four years old.
Majored in drama in college and began acting in the late 90s.
He was awarded the 1998 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Principal Role in a Play for "The Angels of Lemnos" at the Chicago Dramatists Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
