One of the highlights of this year’s awards season has been Brad Pitt’s acceptance speeches for his performance in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
At the Golden Globes, Pitt told co-star Leonardo DiCaprio (and star of “Titanic”), “I would’ve shared the raft.” At the SAG awards, Pitt quipped that he’d put his win on his Tinder profile. And at the BAFTAs, Pitt sent a speech for co-star Margot Robbie to read, in which he alluded to Brexit with the joke, “Hey Britain, heard you just became single — welcome to the club.”
According to Pitt, he’s written those speeches himself — mostly. However, on the red carpet before the Oscars ceremony, Pitt told Variety‘s Marc Malkin that he had some “very, very funny friends” helped him “with some laughs.”

Exclusive: Discovery has had a change of heart about its Naked And Afraid after-show, Discovery After Dark — but it’s not what you think. The cable network isn’t chickening out after announcing the after-show with surprisingly little fanfare last month – it’s changing the name and the host, to the much better Naked After Dark, and to Josh Wolf, respectively. Wolf, known to some for his panelist appearances on Chelsea Lately, is maybe best known to Discovery viewers as host of its wildly popular Shark Week after-show Shark After Dark. Bob Oschack is back with Wolf, this time as Bob The Blur — he was Bob The Shark in Shark After Dark. And Taryn Southern will be the new show’s “social correspondent.” We regret to say absolutely no one will be naked during Naked After Dark — not even the Naked And Afraid competitors with whom Wolf will talk about that night’s episode,...

Fox Sports announced Wednesday that they had cancelled their Fuel TV show, The College Experiment, after the program aired a segment which mocked the accents of Asian students attending USC. Fox Sports spokesman Lou D'Ermilio said in a statement that the segment was "clearly offensive and inconsistent with the standards Fox Sports believes in, and we sincerely regret that it appeared." The story was first reported by Colorado's Daily Camera, prompting the network to issue an apology. The video shows "comedian" and "investigative reporter" Bob Oschack, a former TV writer, approaching Asian students at USC and asking them to give an "all-American" welcome to the Universities of Colorado and Utah as they join USC in the inaugural Pac-12 conference. The students earnestly participate in the interviews, not realizing they're the butt of a joke. According to campus statistics, [...]...

After less than 16 months on the air, NBC has announced that they're shutting down production on their daytime information show, In the Loop with iVillage.
The weekday program was originally designed as an extension of NBC-Universal's iVillage website and was focused on issues and subjects primarily of interest to women. The series debuted on December 4, 2006 as iVillage Live and was initially produced out of Orlando, Florida. It was hosted by relative newcomers Molly Pesce, Stefani "Sissy" Schaefer, and Guy Yovan with Naamua Delaney and Bob Oschack as regular contributors.
iVillage Live wasn't living up to expectations so NBC News' in-house production group took control and moved it to Chicago. The show was relaunched on September 4, 2007 as In the Loop with iVillage. The five original hosts were dropped and replaced by The Apprentice season one winner, Bill Rancic; Apprentice contestant and The Tony Danza Show sidekick, Ereka Vetrini; and comedian/actress Kim Coles.
