Maria Mamede was born on October 24, 1995. At the age of 8, Maria moved with her family to Bahrain and then Shanghai. In Shanghai, Maria started her professional acting career joining Zuloo Productions, a local theatre company. With Zuloo, she starred in the lead role of Aladdin, in Aladdin, the Pantomime. A few years later, her family moved to Dubai for High School. Maria won the first place in a modeling competition, in 2012, and her modeling career took off. She graduated high school with honors in 2014, and her academic ambitions led her to New York University. In New York, she was invited to participate in various plays, sketches and live performances throughout the city. In the summer of 2017, Maria moved back to Brazil by invitation of Bluemoon KN's Director, Jorge Nassaralla, to produce the 5th season of Incredible Hotels. This project immediately tied her to a Fox Sports Brazil Special for the world cup, where she interviewed the top Brazilian soccer players in the world and traveled to over 15 cities.
In 2018, back in New York, Maria joined the Future Reality Lab. She assisted produced Cave XR (2019) and acted in a motion capture suit for the first time to bring a virtual reality character to life (Ayara's mother). The extended reality film was selected to the Tribeca Film Festival 2019.
