Actor-rapper Chaitnya Sharma, aka SlowCheeta, recently starred as Pk Banerjee in the recently released hit film Maidaan and received much praise for his performance. Now he has donned his other avatar and has dropped his latest EP – Scene Main Bawaal, released by IncInk Records. The singer has also released a unique music video for one of the five tracks from the EP, titled Kar De Kaa?
What makes it even cooler is that in an exciting Gully Boy reunion, the 7-minute-long Mv features superstar Ranveer Singh in a cameo, alongside SlowCheeta.
The music video tells the story of India’s underground rap scene, complete with its highs and lows. For Kar De Kaa?, the actor-rapper has released a music video that expands upon its title through a very intriguing video filled with rich storytelling. The title, “Kar De Kaa?,” literally translates to “Should I do it?” However, its context is more nuanced.

Actor and rapper Chaitnya Sharma, professionally known as ‘Slow Cheeta’, has released the music video of his new single ’90’s ke Ladke featuring D’Evil. A rawer and energising track, it speaks of memories of an era gone by.
The rappers go old school, capturing the ’90s hip hop vibes in a mix of freestyle and gangsta rap complete with great flow and delivery.
The track features fellow rapper D’Evil with whom Slow Cheeta goes on an energising collaboration, complete with wit, sarcasm, attitude and just a good deal of fun. Though rhythmically simple, the track produced by Ink Heart, is full of raw old school energy and features a very clear production, with the accompanying sound design providing enough room to accentuate both the rhythm as well as its energy.

The theme song, ‘Asli Action Chaalu’ from Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘An Action Hero’ is performed by Gully Gang signees and leading Mumbai-based rappers D’Evil and Shah Rule and is composed by Parag Chhabra. The groovy track brings to life the well-choreographed action sequences of the film.
D’Evil states, “This has been a very impromptu opportunity. I had to forsake my underground mumbaiya personality and embrace a more mainstream commercial vibe. This has been a novel experience for me but I have experimented with my style and soundscape. Music director Parag Chabbra was impressed with my work on ‘Asli Action Chalu’ and also offered me to jump on another song from the album along with Vivek Hariharan ‘Ghere Mein’. I was asked to play a narrator here in this song.”
Shah Rule states, “The making of our song ‘Asli Action Chaalu’ was a fast moving and thrilling experience similar to this action packed film itself.

Mumbai, Dec 9 (Ians) Rapper Divine says his album, Punya Paap, is reflective of his thoughts and experience of the year, adding that working on project was very taxing.
"Punya Paap was an idea that was born right after I released Kohinoor. 2020 has been such a roller coaster rider, right from the first recordings in January, subsequently diving into uncharted territories of a lethal pandemic that wreaked worldwide socio-economic chaos and now finally being able to present my second body of work, it's been quite taxing and emotional," Divine said.
"I took all the negativity surrounding me and channeled my energy into my music. The producers really challenged me to do better and I'm extremely glad to be working with such a talented troupe right from Phenom, Stunnah, iLL Wayno, Karan Kanchan, Nds and Kanch," he added.
His album "Punya Paap" features collaborations with artistes like hip hop veteran Nas, Grammy winning Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Cocoa Sarai,...
