The widow of slain UCLA professor William Klug characterized her husband's shooting death as an "indescribable loss," and has asked for privacy as she continues to mourn his murder. "During this extremely difficult time for our family, we are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support," Mary Elise Klug said in statement released by the University of California, Los Angeles, on Thursday. Two men were left dead in a murder-suicide on UCLA's Westwood campus on Wednesday morning, Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said, relaying that "the campus is now safe."
