One day, perhaps even in our lifetime, human beings will be living on Mars. When that time comes, not every colonist will be a super scientist or engineer, there would still be a need for cooks, janitors, and… graphic designers? Max has released the first official trailer for Fired on Mars, a workplace comedy series which tells the story of Jeff Cooper, a man who finds himself adrift after taking a one-way trip to the Red Planet only to have his bosses unceremoniously eliminate his role.
Luke Wilson stars as Jeff Cooper in Fired on Mars, leading a cast which includes Leslie David Baker, Cory Loykasek, Stephen Root, and Cedric Yarbrough. The eight-episode series will also feature Pamela Adlon, Thomas Haden Church, Tim Heidecker, Frankie Quinones, Emily Watson, and Sean Wing in guest-starring roles.

Darryl Stephens finds himself in bed with Sean Wing in A Family Thing.
Darryl Stephens isn't resting on his laurels as we collectively wait to see if his series Dtla returns to Logo. Instead, he dove headfirst into a juicy part on the Los Angeles stage in the new play A Family Thing.
Presented by the Echo Theater Company, the play, by out playwright Gary Lennon (who also has extensive credits in film and TV) looks at a family of three estranged brothers – one a felon, one an addict and the other a writer (who happens to be gay) and what happens when they come back together. With much humor to balance out some of the play’s heavier moments, the focus is on the idea that family is the thing that brings us together as well as what tears us apart. Hopefully the production will also convince people that...

Another high concept horror film that never fully lives up to the potential of the material. It never gets into the mindset of one of the characters who realizes what's going on, yet can't figure out a way to stop it or to get her friends to remember the other people who have been killed off. Court will soon be adjourned for ABC's new legal drama. The Whole Truth has been cancelled.
Airing on Wednesday nights, The Whole Truth stars TV veterans Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney. He plays a powerful defense attorney who was raised on the wrong side of the tracks. Tierney is on the opposite side as a Senior Trial Assistant District Attorney whose father was a sheriff. Viewers are shown how each side builds their case, using their own version of "the truth." The rest of the cast includes Eamonn Walker, Sean Wing, Anthony Ruivivar, and Christine Adams.
For whatever reason, most viewers haven't been willing to even give the series a try. The legal drama got off to a very poor start right out of the gate. Whole Truth debuted on September 22th to a poor 1. 5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.85...

"You Again" is a new comedy starring Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman as high school rivals, with Jamie Lee Curtis as Bell's mom and Sigourney Weaver as Yustman's aunt -- their rivalry goes back even further. Betty White and Cloris Leachman round out the cast of lovely ladies as the rival grandmothers.
Sean Wing ("The Whole Truth") is one of the few men braving this enslaught of amazing women. He plays Charlie, one of the groomsmen and love interest to Bell -- and it's just as intimidating as it sounds.
"It's daunting. When you get cast to play the love interest of somebody you've had a crush on ... "She's supposed to be crushing on me the entire time, it's a very role reversal kind of thing. We're actors just playing these parts, but it doesn't make sense. This is backwards." Wing laughs.

Pretty faces were packed in the El Capitan Theater on Wednesday, September 22. That night, the likes of Kristen Bell, Odette Yustman, Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis attended the Los Angeles premiere of "You Again".
Looking fresh in a white and yellow dress, Bell was sandwiched between her on-screen high school arch nemesis, Yustman, and Weaver when posing for cameras. The "Avatar" actress and Curtis, who portray old rivals in the film, also bonded at the red carpet event. Not only posing together, they even wore similar gowns.
Included in the all-star female cast, Betty White, Christine Lakin and Meagan Holder also took part at the special screening. Additionally, actors Victor Garber, Billy Unger, Patrick Duffy and Sean Wing as well as director Andy Fickman supported the event.
"You Again" centers its story on Marni, successful PR pro who learns that her brother is going to marry her high school rival Joanna.

Chicago – Every year, there’s a program or two for which it is strikingly easy to recognize exactly what people will love about it and what many will equally hate about it. Said programs are usually the product of creators with strong and identifiable styles and Jerry Bruckheimer is certainly one of those. Even casual fans would recognize his slick approach to the medium and your tolerance for that is going to determine your judgment on ABC’s “The Whole Truth,” a program that works for me but might not work for you.

A few years ago Jerry Bruckheimer produced a series on Fox called "Justice". I really, really liked that show. It was about a group of lawyers and at the end of every episode they showed what really happened with the crime or the accident. I was sad when Justice was canceled. Bruckheimer's new series for ABC, "The Whole Truth", will be airing this fall on Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. and although it's not the same show, it sort of reminds me of Justice, which makes me excited about this new series.
Coincidentally, Eamonn Walker appeared in Justice and will also be appearing in this show, along with Nip/Tuck actress Joley Richardson. Today ABC released two sneak peeks from the series at its Upfront presentation and we have them for you below.

The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the third announced today. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on ABC.
The Alphabet solidly finished this past season with five of the top fifteen highest-rated TV series in the key Adults 18-49 demographic - "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Desperate Housewives," "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor". Yet there's an obvious concern that the network has been floundering a bit when it comes to new shows - especially in terms of scripted drama which has been its greatest strength in modern times.
ABC had success launching four comedies last year, with both "Cougar Town" and "Modern Family" becoming ratings hits and the latter drawing critical acclaim. "Hank" outright flopped, but "The Middle" did well enough to get renewed. With reality shows it continues to do strong business...

What you see may not be what you get with ABC's new legal drama "The Whole Truth."
That's not because of any inherent sneakiness within the show -- although it is a courtroom drama, so it's reasonable to expect some twists and turns in its cases. But after the pilot was shot and ABC decided to pick it up for fall, star Joely Richardson ("Nip/Tuck") decided to drop out of the show so she could spend more time with her family.
The network will be recasting Richardson's part, a prosecutor who frequently squares off with her former law-school classmate (Rob Morrow), who's now a defense lawyer.
The hook for "The Whole Truth," which was created by Tom Donaghy ("Without a Trace") is that it will show both the prosecution and defense preparing and presenting its case, with the goal of keeping the audience guessing about who's on the right side.
