Maria Bankowska was born on 14 April 1888 in Krasne-Lasocice, Poland, Austrian Empire [now Krasne-Lasocice, Malopolskie, Poland]. She was an actress. She was married to Feliks Bankowski. She died on 18 October 1951 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.
She began her career as a dancer, then performed in revues and sang in operettas. During the war, she did not perform, after 1945 she was a ticket player for the City Theaters in Warsaw, 1949-51 she performed in the People's Music Theater, playing small roles.
