Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, which once again comes from Aew Universal and features the Aew debut of Marina Shafir, another of the recently cut WWE roster and a member of Ronda Rousey’s four horsewomen Mma stable.
Match #1: Kris Statlander def. Marina Shafir
My Thoughts: Despite losing the match, Marina Shafir made a super-solid debut, really looking like her wrestling training on top of her Mma background has really stood her in good stead for a long wrestling career. She’d definitely be a good addition to the Aew womens roster that’s for sure. Superb opening match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Nick Comoroto def. Dean Fleming
My Thoughts: Anyone else only just notice that there’s a Dalek-esque soundbite at the start of Comoroto’s entrance music? This was another sqush match for Comoroto, who made mincemeat of Fleming And stole his neck tie!

Welcome to another double-stuffed review of All Elite Wrestling: Dark, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I’m doing the number-rating-only deal for this sucker. I’ll still recommend the matches that were the best, but that’s it Brad Pitt.
September 8th 2020 Will Hobbs def. Sean Legacy – 1.7 Brian Cage def. Tony Donati – 1.4 Angélico def. Griff Garrison – 2.4 Anna Jay def. Skyler Moore – 2.1 Eddie Kingston def. Lee Johnson – 2.3 Sonny Kiss def. Serpentico – 2.5 Ricky Starks def. Ben Carter – 2.8 Final Verdict: 2.4/5
There’s plenty of good action from the last match, thanks to Starks (Carter did well as well).
September 15th 2020 Brandi Rhodes (w/Dustin Rhodes) def. Red Velvet – 1.9 Penelope Ford (w/ Kip Sabian) def. Dani Jordyn – 1.6 Brian Cage def. Megabyte Ronnie – 1.5 Santana and Ortiz def. Welcome to this double-shot of All Elite Wrestling: Dark, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two episodes that we’ll cover here. I’ve done this before, but I’m just going to give the numerical review of each match and then recommend the best of each episode to watch. You know damn well there will be too many squash matches for me to take, so get the counter ready, because I’m about to fly off the fukken chain.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and somebody got the turkey! We have to find this son of a b*tch and get the turkey back! Those damn turkey thieves don’t get to keep one damn bit of my pet turkey! We gotta get the legs back and the breasts back and…the white meat…back. Maybe I should bring a…Crock-Pot…with me…mmmmmmmm. Okay, let’s get to the matches before I boil my turkey in that Crock-Pot…
Match #1: Kip Sabian def. Michael Nakazawa
My Opinion: 2.9 out of 5 – This was getting good, but it got cut off before it could do anything you’d remember. I…smell that turkey cook. Sabian and Nakazawa did some great character stuff that I didn’t always care about, but appreciated nonetheless. All in all, this was a short but sweet opener.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Hardbody Harrison is in jail for life, because he’s an idiot…and an evil perv. The show has six matches, which includes a match from Brian Pillman Jr., who now has to thank the booker-man for this wonderful opportunity…to get Covid-19. Dark starts… I can’t believe you don’t shut-up!
Match #1: Shawn Spears def. Brian Pillman Jr.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – This should have been a much longer match, but for the one we got, this was still fun and tantalizing…like Lorraine Bracco…good for her. Bp did well, except for the oil spill, but what does a seagull know? You’ll see some nice mat work here, but it all felt too brief and secondary to Spears’s and his stupid glove. If you like a...

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! We’ve been f—— robbed! Where’s the Camberet? My Lyndatto sculpture?! The Rings of M’fulche?! Every piece of art has been pilfered like a virgin’s sweet cherry! I’m going to smash Pandetti when I see that little Italian! Well, while I mourn the death of my Shangri-La, perhaps you’ll enjoy the buffet of semi-nudified flesh that leaps across the canvas. Oh! The f—— Pfhindala! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
Match #1: Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes & Qt Marshall) def. John Silver and Alex Reynolds
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – I enjoyed this, with S&r really doing the big work here. It’s nice to see both of them getting to shine with ol’ Dustin and Qt. As matches go, this was meaty and mean, but never too showy.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a few minutes of wrestling on a half-hour show, but we’ll use Covid-19 as an excuse for why we only have short matches on a half-hour show. Okay, let’s go see what I’m talking about.
Match #1: Qt Marshall defeated Lee Johnson
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – This was alright. It’d be nice if this coulda gotten a few more minutes, but I say that too often and Lee looked fine. Qt was a good pillar for Lee to lean on here and it’s nice to see a solid mid-carder like Qt in such a position. I ain’t sayin’ that this is a barn-burner, but for a meager match this wasn’t all that bad.
Match #2: Wardlow defeated Ryan Pyles
My Opinion: 1.7 out...
