Trisha Brown was born on November 25, 1936 in Aberdeen, Washington, USA. She was an actress, known for The Man Who Envied Women (1985), Linoleum (1966) and Water Motor (1978). She was married to Burt Barr. She died on March 18, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
She was nominated for a 1999 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for
Outstanding Achievement in Dance for the 1998 production of L'Orfeo at
the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie at BITE:98.
She is an artistic director, choreographer, and dancer.
She was awarded the U.S. 2002 National Medal of Arts from the National
Endowment of the Arts.
Her husband Burt Barr was a video artist ( Lewiston, Maine, 1938 - November 2016, Hampton Bays, NY).
