Can you tell who has a “good” voice and who has a “bad” voice just by looking someone in the face who is lip-syncing to a song? This is the question posed to participants weekly on the Fox game show I Can See Your Voice, hosted and created by Ken Jeong.
“The whole show is predicated on, is this a ‘good’ singer or a ‘bad’ singer without ever hearing them actually hearing them sing,” Jeong tells Deadline during a panel at its Contenders Television: Documentary + Unscripted awards-season event. “We use visual clues, lip-sync clues, and like detective kind of clues. At the end of the day, the contestant has an opportunity to win life-changing money by determining if the final secret voice is good or bad. And if it is good, then they can win up to $100,000. It’s really just feel-good television at its best.”

Today, Ashley Eckstein is known for voicing one of the most popular "Star Wars" characters of the 21st century: Ahsoka Tano. The performer, who has won praise and recognition for her turn as the Togruta Jedi turned Rebel, surprised audiences when she made her debut in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." She quickly proved herself capable of not just kicking major butt in the "Star Wars" universe but also of being great enough to slip into existing canon without alienating picky fans of the original and prequel trilogies.
Since Ahsoka's introduction, she's become a massively popular character, starring in "Star Wars Rebels" and "Tales of the Jedi" and making the leap to live action, with Rosario Dawson putting on the head tails to embody the character. Ahsoka wasn't always embraced by "Star Wars" fans, though. In an interview Eckstein gave to Vanity Fair in 2020, the actor revealed that reactions...

Tyler Posey is used to the unusual. He got slapped by Gigi Hadid in Lip Sync Battle. A cast member in a wolf costume drooled K-y jelly into his mouth. And most recently, the Teen Wolf star performed as a hawk in gladiator gear on The Masked Singer.
After a Harry-Potter-themed night featuring spell-bound songs, Posey was unmasked during the sixth episode after performing a punk rock rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Monster” against masked contestant Tiki.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 10, Episode 6 of “The Masked Singer,” “Harry Potter Night,” which aired Oct. 25 on Fox.
The timing couldn’t have been better: With Halloween approaching, it was a spooky “Harry Potter”-themed episode of “The Masked Singer” this week, so it was only appropriate that “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey would be the next celebrity to be unmasked in Season 10.
Posey was revealed to be Hawk, after this week performing “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” by The Police. “I have this checklist of random weird things that you only get to experience once in a lifetime,” Posey told Variety. “And this fit right in with that. This is just a fun, interesting, random, bizarre experience that I was just completely down to do. It’s also challenging. I’ve always been sort of awkward when it comes to choreographed dancing.

“The Masked Singer” goes whole Hogwarts on this week’s episode with a “Harry Potter” theme, and Variety has a first look. On the “Harry Potter Night,” tied to Halloween (of course), a new costumed Wildcard celebrity joins the competition: The Sea Queen. Below, panelist Ken Jeong — dressed as “Harry Potter” character Professor Snape — attempts to figure out Sea Queen’s identity.
The October 25 episode, which airs as usual at 8 p.m. Et on Fox, follows each contestant — Sea Queen, Hawk, Husky and Tiki — as they are assigned a Hogwarts house from the Sorting Hat. Each contestant will then perform a song in theme with the week’s episode, like “Love Potion No. 9” and “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.”
Also guest starring on the episode: Adrienne Bailon-Houghton (Flamingo from Season 2), who opens the show with a performance of “I Put a Spell On You.”

“The Masked Singer” has arrived at its 10th season, and it’s celebrating big all season long — with some help from a member of newly reunited (if only just temporarily?) *Nsync, a star of “The Office,” and several famous alums.
TheWrap can exclusively reveal that Lance Bass and Kate Flannery (Meredith from “The Office”) are among the show’s special surprise clue givers this season. Fox is bringing in some repeats of 9-1-1: Lone Star to its fall schedule as it tries to remind viewers that scripted drama still has a place on broadcast TV amid the writers and actors strikes.
The move sees unscripted competition series I Can See Your Voice, which has completed production of its third season, to midseason.
Season 4 of 9-1-1: Lone Star will air starting on Tuesday September 19 at 9 pm, after season 3 of Name That Tune.
The hope is that it can get some traction for the return of 9-1-1: Lone Star with its fifth season once the dual strikes are over. It comes as the show’s parent show 9-1-1 was not renewed by Fox in May, instead set to move to ABC, whose sibling studio 20th TV produces, once the strikes are over.

It’s easy enough to tell if someone can sing by listening to them belt out a tune, but can you identify a great vocalist just by looking at them? Fox’s I Can See Your Voice, hosted by Ken Jeong, puts its contestants to the test — if they can correctly identify who among a group of six lip syncers can and cannot sing, they win $100,000. If not, well, they at least got to meet a few celebrities on the show’s panel along the way.
Season 3 of the series, which is based on a hit South Korean game show, premieres on September 19. In this exclusive clip, Fox reveals this year’s celebrity panel includes stalwarts like Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton along with Lisa Ann Walter, Ron Funches, Porsha Williams, Cheyenne Jackson, Joel McHale, and more.

Aside from its regular “Fox Animation Domination” block on Sunday nights, Fox’s fall schedule is taking a more alternative approach this year as the WGA strike continues to remain an issue for Hollywood.
In similar fashion to other broadcast networks, Fox’s fall schedule was notably missing mention of its scripted series premiere dates. Those programming blocks have instead been filled with unscripted shows like “Celebrity Name that Tune” and “Kitchen Nightmares” and animated series like newcomer”Krapopolis” (which recently got a long overdue premiere date) and mainstays like “The Simpsons,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “Family Guy.”
