Narcos Mexico's upcoming third season will also be its last.
Netflix on Monday confirmed the news, revealing the series will end for good on November 5 when the third season drops in its entirety.
As for what's on tap in the final season, the streamer offered up the following:

Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico returns with season 3 on Nov. 5 — its final season in Mexico. It is as yet unknown if the franchise will continue with another installment after the original series, set in Colombia, and the Mexico offshoot, both of which ran for three seasons. Season 3 will be Narcos: Mexico‘s last, Netflix announced Monday, but that won’t stop Amado, El Chapo and the rest of the cartels from bringing the heat when the series returns for its final showdown Friday, Nov. 5.
In a new teaser (embedded above), we catch our first glimpse of the third season, as war breaks out after the splintering of Felix’s smuggling empire. The conflict is described via voiceover as “a war that would change Mexico and drug trafficking forever.”
