Born in 1970, Philip studied communications with Colaiste Dhulaigh
Dublin specializing in stills photography. Having worked as a
professional photographer for six years he returned to College to study
film and video at Irelands premier film school the Dun Laoighre
Institute of Art Design and Technology where he obtained a BA
specializing in Editing (Avid). He has worked in all positions on over
thirty many award winning, including "At Deaths Door" starring Cillian
Murphy, "The Braineater" by Conor McMahon and "Dream Kitchen" by Barry
Dignam as well as directing a number of shorts including his own award
winning film "Life in the Middle". He has also worked as the stills
photographer on two Irish features "Last Days in Dublin" by Lance Daly
and "Dead Meat" by Conor McMahon. He is the founder and Director of the
"MFA International Film Festival Illes Balears" and professor of the
English department of the Mallorca Film Academy.
