Holly is proud to work as Associate Producer with Judi Levine at Such Much Films. In January 2022, Holly also joined the Sandbox & Soundbyte family as Soundbyte's Producer. With a special interest in producing documentary as well as narrative stories based on true events, Holly endeavours to use film as a vessel for social change through storytelling, whilst building platforms for new voices to be heard.
Holly completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Screen Arts (Production) at Curtin University in 2019. In her final year, she pitched and produced KIA KAHA, a documentary following the personal story of Leon Ruri, men's mental health and suicide prevention advocate and founder of not-for-profit organisation, Haka for Life. Holly championed fundraising efforts that raised over $11,000 for production, subsequently leading her team across the world, from Perth to the North Island of New Zealand and on to Los Angeles, California.
Following KIA KAHA's success, Holly was awarded Leading Lights recipient status, attending the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC 2020). Continuing her studies, Holly completed her Master's degree in Screen Studies (Producing specialisation) at the WA Screen Academy in 2021.
From 2021 onwards, Holly has been mentored by the exceptionally talented queen of screen, producer Judi Levine (THE SESSIONS, FALLING FOR FIGARO, HOW TO PLEASE A WOMAN). Holly actively mentors at-risk youth who aspire to pursue careers in film through Insain Youth Services' Visionworks(TM) Program, providing high school students with guidance and empowerment. Holly extends her mentoring efforts to university students through regular guest lecturing in Screen Arts at Curtin University. In addition to her mentoring roles, Holly takes pride in being a committee member of the WA chapter of WIFT (Women in Film & Television), further demonstrating her unwavering commitment to supporting other emerging filmmakers via a multifaceted approach.
Holly's current slate of projects spans across various mediums. Most notably, Holly has been working for Such Much Films as Associate Producer on the Documentary Australia Foundation supported feature documentary, JUST LIKE US, which follows the story of 11 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander teens who took a life-changing journey to Hollywood. Holly is also in production as Associate Producer for the feature documentary, OUTSPOKEN!, detailing the life and times of actress and filmmaker Ida Lupino, and her lasting impact on women filmmakers, which has been formally endorsed by the Geena Davis Institute (USA).
