Two big additions were recently made to the cast of the new It movie, with one actor set to portray a tormentor of the Losers’ Club and the other lined up to play a key member of the group.
Deadline reports that both Sophia Lillis (37) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic) have joined the ranks of New Line Cinema’s upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s epic 1986 novel, It.
Lillis will play Beverly, a courageous girl who isn’t afraid to stand up for her fellow members of the Losers’ Club. Deadline reveals that Hamilton, on the other hand, will portray the menacing role of Henry Bowers, a boy hell-bent on making the lives of Beverly and her friends miserable whenever possible.
Lillis and Hamilton join a cast that includes Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Owen Teague, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Clown,...

Fink. Photograph by Collin Stark. Ashley Fink has appeared regularly on this season of Glee as droll, trenchant, and somewhat manipulative plus-size diva Lauren Zizes (rhymes with “Pisces”), and she brings a wonderfully dark energy to the periodically Panglossian proceedings. On tonight’s episode, “Silly Love Songs,” Lauren gets her first big chance to shine with a featured plotline. So, continuing my tradition of gallingly showcasing the true underdogs in the program’s cavalcade of underdogs, I gave her a call and asked her some inappropriate questions about Valentine’s Day, chick fights, and the Doritos flavor range.

At its core, acting is really just a grand lie told in the name of entertainment. It’s a bit incongruous, then, that when actors walk off the stage, we expect the opposite from them: the truth. We want to know who they are and what they stand for — and Kristanna Loken is one of the few actors who tells us.
Loken, who publicly came out as bisexual four years ago, has appeared in T3: Rise of the Machines, Painkiller Jane and The L Word. She also starred in Lime Salted Love, an independent film that became available on DVD last month.
In this exclusive interview with AfterEllen.com, Loken opens up for the first time about her separation from husband Noah Danby and about the new love in her life.
