CNN is bringing back the interview series Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? for a fourth season, but this time the show will be exclusive to the streaming platform Max.
New episodes will become available to stream on CNN Max, the streaming news hub within the Max platform. Episodes will drop Fridays, beginning with an interview with director Oliver Stone, which will debut Sep. 29. Other guests booked for the new season include musician Jon Batiste, sportscaster Al Michaels and finance guru Suze Orman.
Wallace left Fox News in late 2021 to join CNN+, the cable news channel’s first go at a streaming service, and the first season of his show debuted on the streaming platform before it was ignominiously shut down after only a month.

While some may be bewildered at the decision to honor a sweatpants-wearing hooligan like Adam Sandler with an award as prestigious as the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, you would be hard-pressed to argue that he didn’t deserve it. The comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician has more than 80 movies and seven albums under his belt. His work has grossed more than $4 billion — and he is beloved by everyone from your grandma to your nephew. And like every Sandler movie that’s ever been panned by critics and cheered by audiences, the 2023 Mark Twain Prize ceremony at the Kennedy Center in D.C. on Sunday night felt like it might have just been an excuse for a giant reunion for the popular comedian’s goofball-cum-genius friends.

In her seven seasons as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, Kristen Wiig became known for an array of bizarre recurring characters and for taking on difficult and highly memorable impressions (Bjork, Kathie Lee Gifford and Suze Orman spring immediately to mind). She's done her fair share of comedic film work, but in the last few years has really found her niche in indie dramadies. With The Skeleton Twins and Hateship Loveship under her belt, Wiig now appears in her strongest performance to date in Welcome to Me as Alice Klieg, a woman with borderline personality disorder.
The concept works because it is too absurd to be true. Essentially, it begins with the fact that Alice has a complicated relationship with television. It has comforted, cared and educated her over the years. Despite her mental issues, she's stopped taking her prescribed medications and relies on piles of VHS tapes to calm her nerves.

Looking back on four decades of "Saturday Night Live" impersonations, it's cool to see how many ways a celebrity impression can be hilarious, provocative, or just plain effective. Sometimes an impression works because it's a dead-ringer for the real thing (See: most of Dana Carvey's work), but sometimes a twisted or loopy take on a familiar figure is even more engrossing and funny. We've picked the 25 best celebrity impressions in "SNL" history, and for the sake of such a short list, we're only including impersonators who served as cast members on the show. "Hasn't Rachael Ray already won several Daytime Emmys?" you might be thinking. Indeed, "30-Minute Meals," the show that made her a star, won Best Service Show in 2006, and her self-titled talker won Best Entertainment Talk Show in 2008 and 2009, but those awards go to producers, and while many TV hosts also get producing credits on their shows, Ray does not, so she's really 0-for-8 at the Emmys, with two more chances this year. -Break- Daytime Emmy reactions: 'All your misdeeds are now forgiven!' Mindy Lahiri — a woman who clearly’s watched a lot of Sex and the City — apparently hasn’t watched enough of Carrie Bradshaw, because it took her nearly till the end of last night’s episode to realize Danny is totally in love with her. When it comes to saving money and budgeting, nearly three-quarters of Americans have trouble doing it. According to a study by Bankrate.com released last year, about 76 percent of Americans don't have enough money to cover at least six months of expenses—the suggested amount for an emergency savings fund to cover emergencies like job loss or unexpected medical expenses. @BobbyInman tweeted us that his New Year's resolution is to "spend my money more responsibly" in 2014, while @c0urtstar wrote, "my ny resolution is to stash $400 a month in an account for the rest of the year." So, what's a good way to start? Famed financial guru Suze Orman, who is a New York Times...

Krisen Wiig kicked butt as Suze Orman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Elisabeth Hasselbeck on "Saturday Night Live" (we're going to go ahead and say Target Lady is a real person, too).
But this week, she unleashed her greatest impression yet: Michael Jordan.
Armed with a bald cap, a Chicago Bulls jersey and a flawless imitation, Wiig paid a visit to fellow "SNL" veteran Jimmy Fallon on Monday night's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
The host questioned the NBA legend (and Mlb... not-legend?) about his career. It was abundantly clear just how much research, preparation and homework went into her impression.
Then, of course, Jordan decided to sing. You know, as per his usual. It's just too bad "he" didn't duet with musical guest Adam Ant. But maybe next time?
We don't know what Jordan is up to, but Wiig will next be seen in "Girl Most Likely."...

Melissa Etheridge weighed in on Angelina Jolie’s double mastectomy announcement and confirms that she and Linda Wallem are still going strong. When asked to comment about Jolie’s big news Etheridge said, “I have to say I feel a little differently. I have that gene mutation too and it’s not something I would believe in for myself. I wouldn’t call it the brave choice. I actually think it’s the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer.

Meanwhile, “Parks and Recreation” costars Amy Poehler and Adam Scott had a blast catching up, and Giuliana Rancic worked her red carpet magic like a seasoned pro.

The L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center held their annual An Evening With Women fundraiser this past weekend.
When the event's host, Kathy Griffin, was asked about her thoughts on the lesbian community while walking the red carpet, she mentioned that even though they are "tough to make laugh," she "freaking loves [her] lesbians" and is even still holding out for a lesbian president.
"You know I've been saying President Orman for quite awhile. I love my Barack Obama, but I'm saying President Suze Orman would be a very good move," said Griffin, who added that a lesbian in the White House would "be a dream."
An Evening With Women is an annual fundraiser that raises money for the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center, which provides shelter, food, clothing, and medication for gay homeless youth in the Los Angeles area. Last year's event, which included performances by Courtney Love, Aimee Mann,...

Did Candice pull off a win? And did Adam Lambert pull off his mascara? (Yes.)
“Candice, why you gotta make this all about you?”
Look. You can pretend the Idol finale is some grandiose, tasteless, freakish spectacle. You can even think that logically. Because it’s true and undeniable and shut up about it. But you can’t deny that the Idol finale reminds you — for a few shimmery moments — that these competitors are viable mainstream singers whether or not they actually end up being successful. They can work alongside real industry vets and not look miscast in their shadows. I dig that — especially when some of the veterans (Mariah Carey and guest performer Jennifer Lopez, in this case) look less than professional as they lip-sync their hits (and non-hits, in the case of poor Jennifer) to the horrified awe of millions. Come on, Mariah! You nail “My All” and...

Kristen Wiig returns to "Saturday Night Live" this week for her first time as host, and it doesn't look like she and frequent sketch partner Fred Armisen have lost any of their timing in this set of promos.
Their first bit in the promos for Saturday's (May 11) show has them talking about which characters they're going to bring back. The ones they mention are just for the sake of the joke in the promo, but Wiig built up a pretty big stable of recurring characters and celebrity impressions in her time on the show. Here are a few that would be fun to see again:
- Penelope, the one-uppingest friend you'll ever have.
- Dooneese, the doll-handed outcast among the four singing sisters on "The Lawrence Welk Show."
- Suze Orman, along with her very. Sharp. Jackets.
- Kathie Lee Gifford
- Anastasia Sticks, co-host of "Hollywood Dish."
Which characters...
