Pano Fountas

Pano Fountas is a composer, orchestrator, and pianist based in Westchester County, New York. His extensive portfolio includes original scores for feature films, as well as commercial and trailer music. His work has been showcased at prestigious international festivals, including the New York City Independent Film Festival, the Maryland International Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Film Awards.
He has collaborated with Fight or Flight, a boutique company based in LA, and with Found Objects, a Brooklyn-based production company. His music was featured in the 2023 Miller Lite campaign video for Women's History Month.
Pano has worked as an orchestrator, reworking documentary scores by Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator, City of Lies) for live orchestra recording, and contributing orchestrations to the 2021 Ability Beyond Disabilities Concert in collaboration with Greg Pliska.
He was also a synthestrator for the Off-Broadway show The Alchemist, and collaborated with Mark Suozzo on an episode of PBS's American Experience, the most-watched historical series on television.
Throughout his career, Pano has received numerous awards, including the prestigious NYU Alan Menken Scholarship, awarded by eight-time Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken. He was also a winner of the ASMAC Chamber Music Competition and Pat Williams Competition, and received the Friends of Music Society Scholarship in memory of internationally acclaimed composer and Herder prize winner Theodore Antoniou.
